Chapter 10

Sam's pov

We pulled up to the restaurant. My mom looked around the parking lot. Her face turned into worry. We walked into the restaurant.  My eye immediately landed on a familiar couple.

"Sammy!" My grandma exclaimed.

"Gran" I said hugging her. My grandpa's eyes were on the others.

"Gran, Pa, these are my friends and neighbors. Andy, Jake, Jinxx, CC, Ashley, Alex and Chrissy."

" Isn't Ashley a girl name?" Pa said. I rolled my eyes.

"Its also a boys name." I firmly said.

"Awwe, thanks babe." Ash said hugging me.

"BABE?" My gran and mom exclaimed. I smirked at them.

"Why don't we sit down?" Jake spoke up. I heard Andy, Jinxx, Chrissy, CC and Alex snicker. The hostess sat us down at a table in the back.

"Order whatever you would like, its on us!" Pa spoke. The waiter came over. Damn he was cute. He smiled at me. I smiled back at him. I saw Ashley glare at him. Whats his problem?

"Can i get you anything to drink?" He ask staring right at me. The boys and us girls said water. My mom said red wine. My gran got water while my pa and dad get a beer. We made small talk. When the waiter brought our drinks, we ordered our food. Before he set down my water, he slipped a piece of paper under the glass. I smiled at him. He winked before walking away. I grabbed the paper. Before I could read it, Ashley snatched it out of my hands and tore it up. I gaped at him. Before I could speak, my gran started talking.

"So, Chrissy, Alex how do you know the boys?"

"Jinxx is my brother." Alex said. Uh oh! My parents and grandparents are going to flip a shit, if they find out Chrissy and Alex are dating. I support them and believe people can date and marry whoever the want. But not my family. Another thing they don't like about me. (a/n I support gay rights. I do believe people should be able to date and marry whoever they want.) Alex looked over at me. Chrissy opened her mouth to speak, Alex cut her off.

"And Chrissy is dating Jake!" All of the boys looked at her surprised. So did me and Chrissy.

"I need to use the restroom. Chrissy come with." Alex rushed grabbing Chrissy's arm and pulling her to the bathrooms. I smiled at my parents.

"Uh okay then. Sam how is moving going?" My pa asked looking at me.

"My house is finished. Furniture put together, walls painted. When we head back ill have to look for a job." He nodded.

"Aren't you gonna go to school?" My gran asked looking at my mom confused. I nodded taking a sip of water.

"Eventually, when I get enough money. I wanna go for record producing." I said cautiously. My mom and dad glared at me.

"No you will go to school to become a lawyer and doctor. You need a good paying job until you find a man that you can depend on."

"No I wont. Also I don't need a man to depend on.  I am a independent person." I said. My dad cleared his throat. By now Chrissy and Alex had returned.

"So Sam, your mom and gran have this tea coming up, maybe you would like to accompany her?" I thought about it for a moment.

"Only if Alex and Chrissy come with." I declared. My mom and gran glared at me. Alex and Chrissy looked at each other.

"Sure!" They said in unison. CC chuckled.

"Okay then, its tomorrow night." The rest of the dinner went smoothly.

TIME SKIP

The next day Alex, Chrissy and I woke up and dyed our hair. Chrissy dyed her hair light purple, Alex went for a blue ombre and I dyed my hair blue.  Chrissy was drying her hair while Alex and I sat on the bed.

"I wanna get my lip pierced" Alex spoke up after Chrissy set down the hair dryer.
