There is a better view of the cover for the book.

-Abel's POV-

"God dammit! Alex you walked off the fucking edge again didn't you?" I yelled at my twin brother.

"Hey, I was getting my ass out of there." Alex responded from the other side of the room.

"Where's Jake at? I can't see him." I asked to no one in particular.

"He's coming over, he can't play Dark Souls while riding in the car." Alex responded while getting up to go get something.

"Shut up." I threw a pillow at Alex.

There was a knock at the door and I went to go open it. Jake was standing there with his bag for the weekend. I noticed his hair was cut and he stopped wearing his glasses which actually brought out the color of his eyes more.

   What the hell?

I shook my head and opened the door wider so Jake could come in. As he walked by I happened to glance at his ass and sighed.

What is wrong with me? Was I just looking at his ass?

I walked back into the room and saw Jake hooking his stuff up so he could join the game.

"Hey pinky could you help me out?" He asked me.

I walked over and hooked up the tv and PlayStation he had brought for him.

"Thanks man." He said to me.

   "No problem Jake." I responded.

~A few hours later~

I look around to see Alex passed out already, while Jake and I are still playing on the consoles. The clock only says it's 3:25 am.

   Wimp.

"I'm going down to get something to drink, you want anything Jake?" I ask him while standing up.

He didn't take his eyes off the screen. "Sure. Just grab me whatever." I wish he would've turned around so I could've gotten a better glimpse of his eyes.

Dammit. I need to stop doing that.

I walk down the stairs and get Jake his drink, which is Mountain Dew one of his favorites, and grab mine then head back upstairs.

When I came back I ran into Jake by accident and fell on top of him. I looked down at him and saw his eyes. His eyes are the only thing I see at the moment, not Alex waking up and asking what happened, not Jake asking me to get off of him. I don't even realize that something was happening to me in the down stairs area. It was just me looking into his eyes.

Jake waved his hand in front of my face and I finally regained my senses.

"Dude can you get off of me?" Jake asked me.

"Uh-Oh! Yeah, sorry about that man." I got up and rubbed the back of my neck awkwardly.

I gave him his drink and went to the bathroom. I locked the door and looked in the mirror.

"I am straight. I do not like Jake. That's impossible. We're just friends that's it, nothing more nothing less." I tell myself, but I knew in that instant, that I was lying to myself.
