Chapter 10 - Advice

-Dakota's POV-

Since these assholes of writers haven't mentioned me yet I suppose it's time for my part to come in, am I right? I don't care, I'm right.

Shelby and Hunter huh, who would've thought. Oh wait I did! Yeah I've known about their little crushes on each other for a good long while now. So it's no surprise to me that it finally happened between them. Do we have any shippers out there yet?

Anyway I just thought since they're all hanging together I'd go and join the party, if you can't beat em join em.

I was heading over to their place when I heard a noise. *Bing!* I looked at my phone and saw a text from Shelbs saying she needed some advice. I replied back and said I would be over in about 10-15 minutes since I was walking. By the way, it isn't fun.

I got there about 15 minutes later like I told her and saw her sitting outside in the cold, with no jacket too. I walked up and gave her a hug since it had been a while since I'd last seen her.

"Hey shelbs, are you ok? What are you doing out here?" I asked her.

"I was just thinking and waiting for you to come over. Something happened last night... well this morning maybe? I'm not sure it's all kind of a blur for time." She replied while rubbing her arms.

"Why don't we go inside. You'll be more warm in there." I urged her inside and saw the guys sitting in the living room playing their video games. "Hey everyone." I greeted them. They all nodded their heads and said hey without looking away from the screens.

"Come on," shelby said while taking me to a bedroom, "So um, I'm not sure how to say this so I'm just going to come out with it. Hunter and I had sex." She blushed and waited for my response.

"Ok? So what advice did you need?" I asked her not bothered by it at all.

"I don't know how to talk to him now. We haven't really talked since it happened and all he has been doing is playing the consoles. I don't know how to approach him with it." She sits down on the floor and puts her head in her hands.

What the fuck hunter?! Seriously.

"Maybe he doesn't know what to say either shelbs." I say and place a hand on her shoulder.

Or maybe he needs to get his ass off the console and talk to her himself.

"You think?" She asks me.

"Most likely, you guys just need to sit down in private and talk about what's going through your mind and his as well. Talk about what it meant to both of you and figure out what to do next." I say. She looks up at me and nods her head, then stands up.

"Ok, I'll go talk to him." She starts to leave then turned back around and hugged me. I stood there shocked for a minute because Shelby was never much of a hugger. "Thank you Kota, for everything."

I hugged her back and welcomed her then walked out to the living room and sat down with the others. I see Hunter and Shelby walk back to the bedroom and sigh.

"Hey Kota. What are you doing here?" Alex asked me.

"Shelbs needed advice with something that recently happened. So I came over, and I wanted to see her again." I added on.

"Oh is it about her and Hunter fucking?" Jake asked.

"Yeah, how did you know?"

"I walked in on them this morning. Something that I wish I never would've done." I saw Jake shiver and laugh.

"Is everything okay between them?" Abel asked from the other side of the room beside Jake.

"That's what they're trying to figure out right now actually, but I'm sure they'll be fine. I mean how long has he been calling her beautiful for? How long have they been texting each other dropping hints that they want to be more than friends? It'll be fine between them." I explained to the group.

We all were silent for a minute and then we started to hear it. The squeaking coming from the other side of the house. Jake looked like he wanted to puke, Abel tried to ignore but failed when he groaned and Alex and I were laughing our asses off.

"I told you guys they would be fine."
