Mini Vacation Part 1 •Devin Booker•

The light peaks through the open crack in the curtains and I softly open my eyes. I pulled the soft white sheets closer up to my head. Thoughts from last night fill my head and I begin to feel a smile creeping up on my lips. I take a deep breath and reach over to grab my phone. The clock read 1:23. I glanced at the background and once again smile to myself.

"Good morning." I hear his raspy voice whisper in my ear. Butterflies exploded in my stomach when I felt him move his arm around me tighter.

"Good morning." I reply and turn over to face him. He was smiling already and he leaned in to give me a sweet kiss. His shirtless, sculpted body, looked beautiful wrapped in the clean white sheets.

I start to get up but Devin pulls me back. "Where do you think your going?" He smirks and starts to tickle me.

"Devin stop!" I manage to say through laughing. He releases me but before he does he gives me another kiss. I felt him watch me as I slide on his button up that was laying in the floor beside the bed. I slid on my red lace panties from last night and start to walk out to the balcony.

I heard him move from the bed and he puts on some basketball shorts. He comes behind me wrapping his arms around my waist and placing his head on my shoulder.

"Devin?" I question as I start to over think things like I always do. "You don't regret last night do you?"

He raises up and he was actually taller than me as short as he was. "Last night was one of the best nights of my life. Besides signing to UK and getting to meet the love of my life. Which is you. I'll never ever regret last night. Cause I love you and I want to be with you for as long as time allows us." I bite my lip and turn around to look him in the eyes.

"Sorry you know me I over think things." My face blushes from embarrassment.

"I love you." He kisses my nose and I scrunched my face up. He knew I didn't like it when he kissed me there.

"I love you Devin Booker." I wrap my arms around his torso and hug him tightly like he might slip away.

Our relationship started out slow. We met because that dork ran into on the street. I was late for a class one day and was running. In a way we both weren't paying attention. At first we were just friends and we're always hanging out. Then it turned into nights where I'd go to every basketball home game and stay after to meet him out of the locker room. When he came back from away games he'd always stay at my place because "the dorm was to far" I never much complained. I loved the company. Then over the years it became an every day thing. We were almost always together and the amazing thing was is that we never got tired of each other. Not even now.

When Devin went to the finals I promised him I'd be there for every game. I was. The last game that they were in before getting knocked out I was still there. It was still a big deal to all the fans. We had a undefeated record. But never in my life did I ever see him so disappointed. I didn't care about anyone looking at us. I rushed off the stands to him, running straight into his arms.

"I don't care that you guys lost. You played your heart out. I'm proud of you and your team. Win or lose you still have me." I say to him. And then he did something that neither of us were expecting. He kissed me. It was the best kiss I ever had. The little moment got caught on camera and to this day it's still my lock screen.

Devin has his lock screen of us in our caps and gowns. He's carrying me bridal style and we're looking into each other's eyes smiling like we always some how are.

"Wanna help me make breakfast?" Devin asks. I don't reply just grab his hand and pull him downstairs to the huge kitchen.

"Do you have practice today?" I ask him as I start to get the pans out. Devin getting the food out.

"Sadly yes. But it's just some training today. Shouldn't be as long. Cause I could spend all day with you." He takes my waist and pulls me in for a kiss that felt like the first one every time. It left a smile on my face as we started to cook.

"We spent all day yesterday together." I comment.

"We haven't been together all day like that before in such a long time. I missed it and forgotten how fun you are." He winks and I punch him in the arm playfully. Me and him have been together for almost 2 and half years.

"I won't let you forget ever again."

"I know you won't." He pulls me by the waist again cause it always got me trapped under his spell. "I know this is sudden but do you think we can take a little vacation?" Devin asks.

"When?"

"When I get back from training today? I kinda already booked the plane tickets and a hotel. So you have no choice."

"Well I'll start packing after breakfast."

"Great." We kiss and then begin to finish cooking our breakfast.
