I Missed You •Ben Simmons•(Maria)

-Maria's pov-

I was curled up on the couch with the blanket loosely over my body. The tv was quietly playing in the background and I would occasionally dose off.

Ben texted me about an hour ago saying he was on his way home from the airport. I was trying my best to stay awake so I could see him. It's been almost a week since we've seen each other and I really missed him. Ben is my fiancé and we normally weren't away from each other for long period of times.

I open my eyes when I hear the door opening and quietly closing. "Ben is that you." I raise my head up to look at the door.

"Did I wake you?" He says softly and sets his bags down.

"No. I was waiting up for you." I start to move the blankets from my body but Ben stops me.

"Don't get up. Just stay where you're at." He walks over to the couch in the process kicking his shoes off and taking his shirt off. I scoot over closer to the edge of the couch so he can get in behind me.

When I felt his warm body collide with my back it was like a magnet and I get as close to him as I could. He puts one arm around my waist and pulls me into his chest.

"I missed you Maria." His head leans over to give me a kiss on my cheek.

"I missed you more." I shift my body around so I could give him a proper kiss.

"I missed those lips." He grins. He looked so tired but he wanted to see me. He wanted to hold me. "I missed your voice." His finger tips slide down my arm causing goosebumps to form on my skin. "I missed your body pressed against mine." He leans down to kiss me again.

"I definitely missed this." His hand goes to my butt and he grabs it. It causes me to giggle and that makes us both smile.

"I missed you." He puts his arm back around me and holds me close to his chest.

I sigh and listen to his heart beat. "I feel so safe in your arms." I whisper and start to move my finger tips around his chest. I feel everything that I missed touching.

"And I feel safer with you in my arms." Ben puts his other arm under me so I'm literally being held by him. His lips start kissing around my face which makes me giggle again.

"I'm never leaving that long again. I love you way to much." He says

"I love you too." We connect our lips and it slowly gets heated. Ben pulled me up onto his chest and pushes on my back to make our bodies press together.

It goes like this for a few more minutes until we stop. "We'll finish this in the morning." I say and lay my head on his chest. Our legs were tangled together under the small blanket.

"I agree with that." He says in a sleepy voice that was so cute.

"Goodnight Ben." I say and close my eyes.

"Goodnight baby." I felt him kiss the top of my head. It only took a few minutes before we were both dead asleep in each other's hold.
