Chapter 15

Finally, here come the day of the meeting Mrs. Jung. Her assistant just informed me yesterday through the phone. Well, I'm still struggling with the thought of what should I and shouldn't I say. But I need to be honest with her right?

The meeting took place at the usual place that we met before. I tried to walk as fast as I could since I don't want Jaehyun to catch me and of course he'll ask where I'm going.

I'm already at the coffee shop though and Mrs. Jung arrived ten minutes later.

" Hello Yerin. It's been a while. " Mrs. Jung said while smiling at me.

I greeted her back and continued with another chitchat before coming at the main topic of today, ofc, about her son.

" How was he? At school? You know what I mean right? " she smiled as she sipping her coffee.

" Yes I know what you mean Mrs. " I unknowingly gulped nervously. " Well.. you should have known that your son is kinda quite right? He doesn't talk that much with strangers. But both of us are good with each other now, I mean.. he's talking with me and make jokes sometimes so I think it's safe to say that we're friend now. "

" I'm glad to hear that! " she smiles dryly. " I didn't even get to talk to him that often. Sigh. I'm such a bad mother, aren't I? " she continued.

" N-no you're not! At least, you asked me to look out for him, you didn't ignore him completely and you still thought of him and worrying about him. I don't care what people think but I considered you as one of greatest mother out there despite your busyness. " I said honestly.

Aside from her works, she still managed to find a time to come here, only to hear about how her son doing from me. I do respect her a lot, although I know Jaehyun won't like the idea of people talking behind his back at all.

" Still, I was too busy with work, I hope I could find sometime to accompany him but I can't. He must feels so lonely sometimes. " she sigh.

" No, please don't think like this. Sometimes it's not something Jaehyun could understand. I hope he will understand your circumstances someday. " I said and smiled at her. She smiled back and nodded. " Anyway I've got some more thing to tell you.. uh, Jaehyun currently work at the coffee shop as a part time worker. I happened to work at the same place and same time as him too "

" What? He's working? " Mrs. Jung asked surprisingly.

" Y-yes.. he even made a mistake on his first day of work. Luckily our boss is kind enough. He didn't kick Jaehyun out. "

" Why did he made a mistake on his first day? This kid.. " Mrs. Jung shake her head then chuckles.

" I didn't know if it's right to tell you or not.. he got shocked and got mixed expression when he meet that one girl that's why he slipped his hands and broke a cup. "

" Girl? "

" Yes, a girl. She's not that tall. She looks as young as me and she's crazily beautiful. She seems to care about Jaehyun as well when he got his hand burned. I wonder why..he seems so down and mad at the same time. "

" Is he okay though? I mean his hand. "

" Oh don't worry Mrs. Jung! He's fine. "
