Chapter 19

After Ten finished talking, I waste no more time and immediately run towards the nursing club. Everyone looks at me curiously but I don't have time to think about that. Why did she got hurt? How is she now? Hopefully she's okay.

As soon as I reached the club's building, I quickly slowed down my steps and walking normally to the nursing room. Then I saw a few people come out from that room, probably the nursing club members.

I walk toward the room in silence then i suddenly heard Donghyuk's voice from inside the room. The door was still half open.

I took a peek through the small gaps of the door. From what I saw is, Yerin smiling at him brightly while he pats her head.

There's something tingling inside my chest but I decided to ignore it anyway.

" I need to go and see the principal now. I'm sorry I couldn't stay here with you. " Donghyuk said as I finally could hear them clearly.

" That's okay Irene will come soon. Thank you.. " she said back, still smiling.

As soon as Donghyuk came out, I don't know why but my foot decided to work on its own and trying to hide away from him. Oh, probably because I've been eavesdropping for a while already. Jaehyun you idiot.

[ Yerin's POV ]

The member of nursing club immediately working on my foot, trying their best to treat my injured ankle once I got there with Donghyuk. He kept saying sorry to me but it's not even his fault though.

" Did you feel better? " he asked once they finished wrapping the bandage on my ankle.

" Yes, I do. " I smiled.

" I'm glad you're fine now. " he smiled back. " Why did you go there earlier anyway? It's lunch time and you should be eating your lunch. " he said, crossing his arms.

" Well, yeah, I was at the cafeteria but I heard them talking about you so.. " I said in hesitation while looking at him

" You already know that I had learned Taekwondo before, remember? And the reason I let them pushed me like earlier just because I don't wanna have a big problem. But if they decide to do anything further than that, I wouldn't stay still too. But thank for that, I'm actually happy that you care about me hmm? No need to do that later. " he smiled.

" Uh, why wouldn't i? You're my friend so I care about you! " I said then he went silent for a moment before continue talking.

" I know it's out of the topic but..have you make up your mind yet? About- Uh about that thing, you know. "

Dang. Not now please..

" I.. uh I-i.. "

" It's okay- Uh really, just tell me once you're comfortable. You don't need to feel pressure because I'm willing to accept anything you said. " he said while patting my shoulder.

I'm really speechless. I don't know what to respond so I just smile at him back. I know it's wrong to keep him waiting like that but I'm scared, I'm really scared once that day comes, our friendship wouldn't be the same anymore.

Not long after, Donghyuk left to see the principal. Now I'm sitting here alone while waiting for Irene to come. I could hear a sound of door knob and I thought that was Irene but no, it's Jaehyun.

Jaehyun is here, right in front of me. His hair was so messy.
