Chapter 17

[ Yerin's POV ]

The awkwardness still remains between me and Jaehyun. We didn't talk that much for the past few days.

Chemistry class has begun but the whole class can smell something off from our teacher today. She doesn't look that well, you can say, she's in a very bad mood.

" Bring your book out and open page 87 " she said.

Eh- where's my book? I'm checking all over my bag but my chemistry book is nowhere to be found. Did I forgot it in my dorm?!

" Whoever realized that you don't have your book with you now, just go and stand outside. I'm so sick of your excuses again and again. " my teacher said with her sour expression.

I really forgot to take it back from the desk in my room.. Seriously how unlucky am I?!

I sighed deeply and about to get up from my seat but my hand got pulled back by Jaehyun. He put his book on my table.

" What? " I asked him in confused.

" Take it. I don't want to study this subject. I'll go outside. " he said.

" What? No I won't take it. I'm going now. " I ignored Jaehyun offer and walk out from class along with a few students who is in the same situation with me as well.

I leaned against the wall for a while then i could see someone come out from the class as well and stand besides me.

Jaehyun

" Why are you being so stubborn? " he asked without even looking at me.

" Stubborn what? I just don't want to borrow your book. " I glanced at him then look away. This man is so weird. " And why are you even here? "

" This is my chance to avoid class so why not? " he shrugged. I stayed silent afterwards. Not wanting to get punishment again over talking too much.

As soon as the bell rang I immediately go to the toilet  to wash my face because I'm too sleepy than I should.

While washing my face, someone open the door loudly behind my back. I quickly looked up to see who is it. No surprise. It's that annoying girl again.

" We need to talk. " Chaeyeon said while crossing her hands.

" I'm not in mood to talk to you. " i said while taking some tissues to wipe my wet face.

" Be careful with your words, I might know some secret about you that none in school did. " she smirked.

" Like I have one. " I rolled my eyes in annoyance.

" You don't have one? How about that night you're with Jaehyun at the river? Then..you confessed? And you got reject by him? "

What the.. How the heck did she know it? She was there too?!

" Who would believe someone like you that always bully people and bad mouth about other every chance you get? "

" They will~ I have a picture of both of you that night. Jang! " She took out her phone and show me the picture. Dang, I looked so ugly here can she just delete it omg.

" What do you want? " I asked, trying to keep my composure.

" I want you to stay away from him. " she said while pokes my shoulder harshly.

I tried girl I tried.

" Just tell him to stay away from me first. " I said.

" You mean he's the one who followed you? Haha girl you wish. " she said then pulls my hair. " I stayed calm all of these time because I thought you wouldn't be this stubborn and stupid, so now, I'm telling you, I'm not going to go easy on you, Im Yerin. "
