Frightened.
With gemstones for eyes,
admired
by strangers,
strangers staring
but this world is ever so frightening.
Catch me because
I'm falling through
all the nets that try to
encase me, but are never there
at all.Don't watch me walk away,
don't cry as I cry.
Take my sorrows
clutching with claws around
my love and throw them
into the sea.
And I'll drown in the inky black with them.
And maybe when I'm tossed upside down,
it will feel like I'm swimming in stars.
