Chapter 4

*1 month later*

It's Monday today and it's Katie's first day at her new school. I'm so excited but obviously, she's not. We have settled in our new house and we can actually call it a home now. I haven't spoken to Ethan in a month, I've bearly seen him. Aliayia is getting really close with Grayson though. I think there is something going on between them too.
I drop Katie off at school and obviously she put up a fuss, but I will just put that onto her hormones. When I arrive home me and Aliayia decide to go to the shop to get some food for the week.

We have been in the shop for ages trying to find where everything is. I also put a CV in to them. I really need to find a job soon.
We were about to leave when we see a boy running into the store holding a camera and only wearing what looks like a grey nappy? Holy shit it's Ethan.
He runs right past us only looking into the camera so he doesn't even notice us and me and Aliayia just laugh. We run outside to see Ethan hiding behind a car and Grayson talking into a camera. We hover about until they have finished talking and Ethan bends down. I'm guessing to put clothes on.

"Hey Grayson!" Aliayia yell and she runs up and gives him a hug. Seconds later Ethan reappears wearing ripped jeans and a black t-shirt. He is staring at me intently, I can feel my face going red so I look away.

"What was all that about" Aliayia asks Grayson.

"Oh Ethan lost in this week's video so he had to do the forfit" he explains and we laugh.

"Bad luck for you" I said quietly and Ethan smirks at me. Seriously what's his deal.

"Here my mum has taking Cameron up to her college and she won't be back for a couple of days. Do you guys fancy staying over?" Grayson said looking at me and Aliayia.

"Of course" Aliayia said. I'm not getting much of a choice. I look behind me, I'm not sure why, and I see a guy taking a photo. But he was looking right at me. He quickly turns away and starts to walk off. He must of been taking a picture of the twins. I hope. I decide to ignore it. I look back to Ethan who is still staring at me. Right I'm going. I start to walk away and seconds later Aliayia appears from behind me.

*Skips to 10:00pm*

We are at Ethan and Graysons house and we have just finished watching The Eagle. It's not my type of film but everyone else seemed to like it. I tell Katie to get to bed since she had school in the morning. She is sleeping in Cameron's room and Aliayia is sleeping in Lisa's room. I'm having to sleep downstairs since there is no room anywhere is.
Once Katie was in bed we decided to watch The Conjuring 2.

I look at my phone and it's 2am, everyone went to bed after the movie ended. But I always stay up after watching a horror. I'm such a scaredy cat. I start to scroll through Twitter when I look up and see a tall figure in the doorway. What the fuck! I quickly turn on the lamp that's next to the couch and I see its Ethan.

"Holy shit! You scared the crap out of me" I said sighing with relief. He laugh a little and came and sat next to me.

"Sorry babe" he said. Wait did he just say babe.

"What are you doing up?" I ask him ignoring the fact that he just called me babe.

"Couldn't sleep." he replied and I looked down at my hands. He grabs my chin and forces me to look at him
"Don't look away" he said but I pull out his reach.

"What's the deal Ethan?" I ask. I really want to know why he is doing this to me.

"What are you talking about?" he looks confused.

"Well when we first met, you didn't like me. You called me a crazed fan. Then you nearly kiss me, then you don't talk to me for a month and now your calling me babe? Talk about mixed messages" I said bluntly. I look him straight in the eye and he smiled.

"Do you really want to know?" he asks and I nod. He leans in closer so his lips are next to my ear. It sends shivers down my spine.
"I like to tease you" I pull away and look at him confused. What does he mean he likes to tease me?

"Let me guess, your one of these girls that bats your eyelashes and guys fall to your feet. Well little girl just cause your beautiful doesn't mean your going to get into my bed anytime soon. I'm going to make you work for it" he said and he stands up leaving me speechless. He did not just say that to me. I get up with him and grab his arm and slap him across his face.

"How fucking dare you talk to me like that. I do not sleep about, I'm still a fucking virgin you stupid prick! I haven't had a boyfriend since I was 15 years old. I have been focusing on my little sister and making sure she has clothes on her back and food on her plate. So if you think you know me then you are very much mistaken young man. So don't you ever assume something like that again. Got it!" I yell quietly.
He just walked away speechless, holding his cheek. I heard him go back upstairs.
I lie on the couch and softly cry. I can't believe he said that stuff to me. I thought he was different. All it did was bring back bad memories. Oh god I don't want to go down that road.
Wait! I know who the guy is that took the picture at the shops earlier today.
And he was definitely taking a picture of me!
