Hey guys. Looks as though updates will come every two fridays. I'm entering for the #Wattys2016, and I do have a lot to do. If you're still reading, it means it makes sense thus far. Tell a friend. I'd really appreciate that.

A rat scurried across the room, reminding me of me right now. Moving from place to place, struggling to stay alive and fend for itself. But it's used to it. I'm not. Everything's just happening so fast. Almost like we can't stay in one place for more than 5 minutes without evacuating. Now were in some underground bunker hiding from our imminent deaths. If this master is really as powerful as they say, I don't really get the point in hiding. We can't possibly hope to take him down. Me, Dan, Izzy, and Essy. Four kids. What chance have we got?. I just want to go home to my normal life. Classic teenage life. Not some dream hunting, pursuing some dream guy in some dream world. Living among fictitious people. Like knowing Chuck wasn't creepy enough. I miss when I could sit on my window sill having apple pie and the only worry on my mind was how to get good grades and the girl I like to me back. Now I have a war to fight for a people I didn't know existed until about two weeks ago. That's just messed up.
'Mátalo', Lilian screamed as she pointed to the rat from a distance whilst walking into the room.
'What?' Curse my poor Spanish skills. The rat ran into a small pipe and made its escape as I looked at it and Lilian alternatively. Her face was red with anger now.
'Niños . ¿Cuándo van a aprender?'
Wish I knew what that meant.
'Come.' She instructed, her face simply straight.
'You have a lot to catch up on.'
I followed her out of the room.
I know I'm not escaping this, so I might as well learn about it, or from it.We moved through hallways and got to where I ordinarily a would have called an armoury. The arsenal here was unbelievable. I don't think there was one weapon I could think of that want featured here. Well... all except guns. Apparently they don't know what guns are here. Good thing I brought one along. I spotted Izzy on one side, in her arms, a broad sword. Essy was on the other side. She had a katana and a scythe. I breathed out as I scanned for Dan. Something being me caught my eye. Or someone. Dan walked in with Lilian. I had been so lost I hadn't noticed her leave.
Lilian simply gestured to her weaponry. I guess we were choosing weapons. I didn't come here to become a freaking barbarian.
'Dont worry. I have mine.' I said subtly.
'And what blades do you use?' She asked.
'A gun.' I replied not sure if she understood me. She laughed hysterically, almost the cackle of an old witch though her face showed only amusement.
'They don't make bullets here hermano. Only blades and clubs. So unless you have a trailer load of bullets, I suggest you put away that toy of a gun and pick a blade.'
It was awkward for me, but I moved across the length of arsenal across the wall. The only thing I found appealing was a bow and arrows.
Lilian looked at Izzy, then Essy, then Dan and asked an open question.
'Does he have a death wish,' she asked, her face filled with concern and confusion.
I didn't know the first thing about archery but I had to sound tough. After all it doesn't go further than pointing and shooting, right?'I have chosen the bow. What now?' I said adamantly.
Dan selected two blades. A katana and a broad sword. Now that combination looked odd but I decided not to ask. I think he's getting at something between Essy and Izzy. Come to think of it, why don't they like each other?
'Well.. now you show me if you can be warriors.'
I think I just brought an arrow to a sword fight.
'You can't be serious.' Dan protested.
I threw my bow to the ground.
'First off. These are real blades. Secondly. They were made for the kill. You can't possibly expect us to take swings at each other.'
'Oh but I do. Just not with blades.' She said as she took off the waist belt that hung loose on her waist. She thrust the other end like a whip. As it met the ground it did turn into a whip. A very long pointy whip. She simply smiled to Izzy, then to us.
'Lesson number 1. Not everything in the dreamverse is real.'
