When we reached the plane, you could tell that Arthur was furious about us being late, but as we boarded he didn't say anything about it. He knew what he was getting himself into when he agreed to be our benefactor. Henley and Merritt sat at the back of the plane, while Jack sat across the isle from Arthur and Daniel sat alone. Trying to get as far rom Danny as possible, I made my way towards Merritt and Henley. Merritt was on the couch so I laced down with my feet in his lap.

"Wake me up when we're in the air." The takeoff is always the worst part.

"Dude this is so fücking scary." I said gazing out the window. We took off an hour ago, and to say the least being in a plane is scary. Merritt laughed at my reaction and Henley continued to read her magazine with a smirk.

"How about I try and make you laugh to take your mind off of it?" Merritt offered.

"Sure, go ahead." He was silent for a few seconds then started his attempts at humour.

"What's the difference between a coq and a hoe?" I raised my eyebrow, making him continue.

"One says coq-o-doodle-do, and the other says any-cöck-will-do!" He hollered. Let me just say that it lifted my spirits.

"Oh my god! I think that's the best thin I've heard in a while!" I laughed, and Daniel over, trying to figure out what was happening.

"You see, Phoebe that's not the only emotion that's running through your head now is it?" Merritt said seriously.

"Oh really." I replied sarcastically, pretending to be interested.

"Yup, you like Daniel, but you're mad at him too." I crossed my arms over my chest and at this point, Henley dropped the magazine and was paying attention.

"Oh please continue Merritt, I need your relationship powers to guide me through this terrible point in life." I exclaimed dramatically.

"Ok, I have a proposition, it's obvious you have feelings for Mr. Atlas, unrequited and misguided, owing to his lack of emotional availability. Consequently, you're very, um, well corked." I couldn't help but laugh hysterically, causing the Daniel and Jack to look over, again. I dismissed their glances and turned back to Merritt.

"Oh god, please just get to the point."

"Okay okay. I recognize that you have physical needs not being met, so solely in vein of helping a sister out, I invite you to think of me as your own, personal corkscrew." He finished with a smirk. How about I beat him at his own game.

"Wow Merritt, you don't understand how much that means to me. Let me think over the offer of cheap and meaningless sex." I said moving closer.

"Cheap and meaningless, but not time consuming."

"Well then, I accept the offer." I admitted and his smirk dropped.

"Wait- really?" He asked suspiciously.

"Of course, I mean look at you Merritt, who wouldn't want you?" I explained leaning towards him. Someone cleared their throat from behind us and there was Daniel, looking jealous?

"Hang on Danny, you didn't let me finish." I turned to Merritt and leaned in closer, putting my lips near his ear.

"In. Your. Dreams." I laughed and leaned back causing him to laugh also.

"Terribly sorry to ruin whatever is happening here, but we have a show to prepare for." Daniel explained looking between Merritt and I.

"Oh, do we now?" Merritt said, standing up, looking deeply into Danny's eyes.
