Hey guys, normally I don't care if you read the authors not at the end, but please if you don't mind read it this time! Thanks!

"Danny! Guys get up! I got a message from Dylan! There's somewhere we need to go!" I yelled to everyone. We had a meeting last night with Dylan, who told us we might have an assignment today and then everyone crashed at our place. When I say crash I mean it, they basically all just found somewhere to sleep and fell to the ground. "Don't make me throw ice on you!" I yelled once again. Still no one woke up. "I'll make breakfast!" I shouted and one by one they came out of their rooms yawning.

"I heard the word breakfast." Merritt said coming down stairs.

"Sorry not today, the bacon is frozen and we don't have eggs." Danny groaned from behind me and wrapped his arms around me.

"If I can't have food can I have a kiss at least?" He asked and I smiled. I stood on my tippy toes and pecked his lips. "And coffee?" He asked.

"Already on the table." I told him and he kisses me.

"You're the best babe." Everyone sat to drink their coffee while I went to get changed. I put on a pair of jean and lace shorts with a blue sweater and my blue converse. Hey if I had to wake up at 6:30am, I would make sure I was comfy. I through my hair in a braided bun and went back downstairs.

"Okay listen up, I'm not your mother. You're all fully grown I shouldn't be telling you what to do. Go. Get. Dressed." I said to my friends who were sitting on the couches. They all laughed and got up to do what they needed to do. Ten minutes later we were out the door, but not before I took the tarot cards off the counter. How could Merritt forget his one job?
-
Five hours of driving. Five hours of hearing them sing camp songs over and over again. Just breath and stay calm, it'll be worth it.
"The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round."

"Stop, stop, stop!" Danny said to a singing Henley and Sky.

"Oh Danny! Just because you're grumpy doesn't mean everyone else has to be." I told him and in the background Merritt laughed. Henley and Sky continued their little music act, making Danny groan again.

"Stop the van. Stop the van or I'm going to jump out." Danny rolled his eyes.

"Danny!" I cried lightly slapping him. "You will do no such thing!" He looked at me with a hurt expression but I just giggled placing my head on his chest. "Shut up and sleep."

"How can I sleep through this singing?"

"Don't knock it." Sky told her cousin.

"Yeah Danny don't knock it 'cause you don't got it." Jack joked snapping his fingers in a z-formation. He wrapped his arm around Sky and smiled. I didn't know what was going on with them, but whatever it was, I was happy for them. The van pulled to a stop and Danny basically threw me off of him. He was the first to get out of the van.

"Okay thank god." He said as he stretched his arms over his head. I followed after him and did the same, letting out a yawn.

"Oh wow! Where are we?"

"Oh great another shit hole."

"Okay, feeling it." Merritt said.

"I'm exhausted, hungry, and cranky." Daniel complained.

"Here have a mint." He gave me a playful dirty look and pulled me into him.

"Sorry, I can't make a gourmet meal in the middle of no where." I said walking beside Danny and Merritt one way while the other three went down another path.

"Oh man, check out this place."

"Where'd you bring us?"

"Was there no landfills where we were?"

"It's actually not that bad." I said admiring some of the old signs.

"This place is awesome!" Jack agreed. We walked into the abandoned building and it wasn't as pretty as it was outside. The railing and stairs were rusty and to our right was a nasty coloured water. We continued to walk and examine the building when we saw crates. Each of them had a sensor and a picture of the eye.

"Is this our new gear?" Henley asked clearly excited.

"There better not be matching jumpsuits in there. You know I don't wear spandex." Danny complained.

"God Danny. Stop complaining!" His cousin scolded him.

"They're locked." Jack added.

"I thought nothing was ever locked, Wilder." I mocked and he glared at me until we both burst out laughing.

"Guys the cards!" Henley exclaimed.

"What cards?" Merritt asked making us all turn to him.

"Uh sorry what do you mean 'what cards?'" Daniel asked frustrated. Jack looked at me with an annoyed expression.

"You know the tarot cards, the ones we gave you to keep safe!" Sky reminded Merritt.

"Oh." He said checking all of his pockets. An embarrassed smile made its way to his face. "Okay."

I should totally play along. He forgot the cards. The one thing he needed to bring he forgot.

"Great fücking job." I sighed walking over to the railing. The others looked at me in shock at how 'angry' I was getting. I turned to them with a smile. "Good thing yours truly always has your back."  Everyone visibly relaxed and got their cards from me, all laughing. I really am a saviour.
