Ch. 5: Nosebleeds and Rivals

I was with Haruhi, looking around the large tropical recreation center Kyoya took us to after school... Against our will.

"How did we get here?" Haruhi asks and we both think back to after school when I was walking her out.

We alerts both talking when the twins grabbed onto us. I gave Hikaru a look and he laughed nervously before grabbing Haruhi. "Abduction complete." They both said.

"Yuu-chan, come with us!" Honey says and I grudgingly went into the car.

"I'm gonna go sit down." I say as I go over to sit with Kyoya. The bathing suit I wore was hidden beneath my black coverup dress since I didn't feel like swimming.

"It's very nice, cost efficient for using us as test subjects." I say as I sit down, making him grin.

"Exactly." He says making me grin as I sit back.

I see Mori get out of the current pool, leaving Honey by himself. I get up and we nod to each other.

"Yuu-chan, will you join me?" He asks but I shake my head, laying down beside the pool and resting my head in my arms.

"I'll just watch for now. Maybe later." I say making him smile.

"Yuu-chan, how young were you when you started baking?" He asks making me smile.

"Eight, but I had servants help for a while after I attempted to make cookies and caught the kitchen on fire." I say making him laugh. "The chef was so mad that he didn't even let me mix any batter for the longest time." I add making him laugh harder.

"Are you gonna become a baker when you grow up?" He asks and at this, I frown.

"No, I don't think I can ever be one." I say softly.

"Why is that, Yuu-chan?" He asks, noticing the change in my expression and voice.

"Well I- Mitsukuni!" I yell just as I see a wave come over us. I jump in, pulling him to me.

I had grabbed the nearby ladder in time. We emerge from the water, gasping for air. I held him to me still as I picked him up and got out of the pool.

"Are you two alright!?" They ask as I set Honey down. I get on my knees and check him.

"Are you hurt anywhere?" I ask and he shakes his head smiling.

"Yuu-chan, you saved me!" He cheers, hugging me. I laugh softly as I hug him back in relief. I stand up, trying to catch my breath.

"I'm all wet..." I mumble as I look down at my dripping cover up.

"Yuu-chan, was amazing! She jumped in and caught me before the wave could take me!" He smiles happily as I pull the dress over my head and drop it to the floor as I shake out my wet hair.

"Y-Yuuto..." They whisper, looking at my midnight blue bikini. It was just a simple bathing suit so I looked up confused.

"Why are all of you all red? And why do you have nosebleeds? Did you all play to rough in the water gun battle?" I ask as I hand each one a towel.

"I don't think it's that..." Haruhi mutters and I shrug.

"Haruhi, wanna go on a waterslide with me? They look fun." I say and she thinks.

"I don't think I wanna swim. Maybe another time. Honestly, I think I'd have more fun in a vinyl pool." She says almost to herself.

"Oh, cool, I use to love playing in those. You should invite me if you get one." I say making her smile as she nodded.

"Yuuto, if you still want to go, Takashi and me are going." Honey smiles.

"Sure-"

"They can ride with the boss. We'll ride with you." The twins smirk deviously.

"Kyoya, which areas should we go to?" I ask and he smiles.

"If you take the highest one, it's a one to two passenger ride to the jungle area. I would like for everyone to see it." He says and I nod.

"Then we'll all have to go. I think Tamaki would want to be with Haruhi, so do you wanna ride with me?" I ask and he nods.

"I suppose there is no other choice." He says and I notice the twins deflate.

"Or Haruhi, would you be more comfortable riding with me?" I ask, wondering if she'd feel a little awkward.

"I'd rather ride with you." She says immediately making Tamaki cry.

"Okay, let's go."

At the top of the slide, Haruhi and I have to go close. "Side by side or you in front?" I ask.

"Side by side." She suggests and we sit beside each other grinning as we hooked arms.

"Ready?" She nods and we push off, past the hut that we were at to reveal the many twists we'd be enduring. We scream as we are shot straight down into it.

Going down side by side was a horrible idea because the twists had us flopping all over each other. By the end, Haruhi was so dizzy that I had to carry her.

I saw they went down a slide right beside ours that was much calmer, but it led to another area that was blocked off to us... By alligators. I'd have to find a way around and go through the forest.

~~Meanwhile...~~

"I don't think I told them that one of them looks like a boy... Oh well." Kyoya mutters to himself, thinking about the orders he gave his police force to find Haruhi and Yuuto.

~~Yuuto's POV~~

"I think I can walk now. Thank you Yuuto-senpai." Haruhi says and I nod as I set her down.

"It's no problem. Now we just have to-"

"We have found our target, the female is unhurt. She is with a suspicious male subject. No moving in on both." Men in black riot gear come from nowhere surrounding us.

"Come with us nice and-" They pull Haruhi roughly. I grab her immediately, kicking the attacker in the face.

There's a bunch of yelling but I'm calm as I flip over and knock out all the men that come after us. In the end, all of them surround me, twitching on the floor in pain.

"Yuu-chan, you know martial arts!?" Honey asks excitedly as the rest emerge from a random path, surrounding the clearing. I just nod.

"Yuuto-senpai, I didn't pick you for that kind of stuff." Haruhi says and I nod.

"Yuuto Umeko!? And Mitsukuni-sama!?" The police men are on their knees bowing. "It is an honor to be in your presence! Especially since your long life rivals!" They shout and they're all confused.

"No! Yuu-chan is my friend!" Honey insists.

"Umeko-sama is the woman's national martial arts and judo champion. In her second year of middle school she went in disguise to the men's championship. She defeated all opponents without mercy or struggle, except one. She was disqualified before she could have her final match with you, Mitsukuni-sama." They explain and they all get it.

"Yes, even though I didn't use my surname, my father and mother found out and took me out of the finals before I could begin." I explain and they're gaping at me.

"Yuu-chan, you were the opponent I could never find?" He asks in shock.

"My father made a deal with your family to not tell you who I was." I shrug.

"Yes, Mitsukuni's family felt that it was best if Honey not fight a girl in fear of either being defeated or sued by her family." Mori adds, shocking Honey.

"You knew, Takashi?" Honey asks surprised.

"Your family felt it was best if I knew to keep you from trying to settle your match with her." He says but I put my hands on my hips with a sigh.

"I don't want to fight you Mitsukuni. I never saw you as a rival." I say simply.

"I feel the same way, Yuu-chan." Honey smiles jumping on me, giving me a huge hug. I return it with a smile.
