Ch. 14: Yuuto's Sick Day

"You must not wake up, Yuuto-san. She isn't vary well. Leave your gifts and leave her to rest." Gary says.

"But how will we know if she's okay if she doesn't tell us!?" Tamaki cries.

"Shh!" They all hiss at him but I'm already stirring, not able to block out the noise.

"I said I was fine, Gary. Leave me alone." I growl, sitting up slowly with my hair in my eyes. To my surprise I hear more than one yell of fear but it's short lived when I sneeze. I always hated my sneeze because it always sounded like a squeak.

"So cute!" They cry and I sneeze again, sinking back into my pillows. I let out a breath, pulling the blankets around me.

"I'm fine, go away." I mumble.

"Miss, please stop insisting that. I'm sure you overworked yourself and gave yourself a cold." Gary says.

"It's not that bad." I mumble. "Why are all of you here?" I ask and they smile.

"I knew my dear daughter was sick-" Tamaki starts.

"I called Gary-san to find out why you didn't come to school." Kyoya says bluntly.

"Yuuto-senpai, your fever is a little high. Someone should stay with you until it breaks." Haruhi insists.

"Yeah, you look really tired and-" The twins start and I throw a pillow at them.

"Shut up, I'm..." I hold my breath, ready for a sneeze but it fades away.

"Awe, Yuu-chan, we'll take care of you! Like you did with Kyo-chan!" Honey says, jumping on my bed.

"Yeah." Mori agrees.

"Just don't be loud, and do not eat the cake on the counter. And please do not make a mess." I say, settling back down.

"Yuuto-senpai, I'll make you some soup. I see you haven't been eating." Haruhi observes the full bowl of soup on my nightstand.

"Thanks..." I whisper about to drift off.

"Yes, my little girl! Sleep-" Tamaki yells and they all glare at him.

"Stop yelling!" They hiss.

"Yuu-chan, do you want Usa-chan to sleep with? It might make you feel better." He smiles, holding it out.

"No, it's fine, Mitsukuni. I'm sick and don't want to get germs on Usa-chan." I say tiredly with a yawn.

"My daughter, it would not matter. Take Kuma-chan, my stuffed bear to help you through your sickness." Tamaki says but I shake my finger.

"I don't want anyone getting sick." I cough into my fist.

"Miss, what about Dino-chan? Have you forgotten your favorite stuffed dinosaur?" Gary asks, going in my shelves and pulling out my green plush dinosaur that had two black eyes and a line mouth with a pointy tooth poking out.

"Even you have a stuffed animal, Yuuto-senpai?" Haruhi asks.

"Mmhm." I mumble as its placed next to me. I take it and put it under my face so I used its stomach as a pillow, letting the small nubby arms and legs hold my face as I rested my arms above my head.

"So cute!" They say and I cough. Gary pulls the blankets closer around me.

"I will be in the lobby, miss. It seems your friends will take care of you." He says and I nod tiredly, drifting off to sleep.

"Hey, Yuuto-senpai, wake up. I brought tea." I hear Hikaru say and I blink my eyes open and he grins. "Gary did say that Dino-chan helps you wake up less terrifying like."
