Gary gave me the heads up that they were all there. I rode up in the elevator and I saw everyone talking to each other in the living room who had somewhat similar personalities. Like the twins and the other twins, Chiko and Kyoya, or Izumi and Honey.
They all looked to me as I continued towards my room. "You're back, Yuu-chan!" Izumi and Honey cheer and I see Izumi scowl at him.
"I'm gonna shower." I say as I walk to my room.
I finish up and sigh. This was gonna be a tough night... I walk out as I ran a hand through my wet hair in only a towel. My eyes snap open at a strangled sound. I see my twin brothers and the host's twins on my bed.
"All four of you get out." I say firmly and Akira and Arata slam their hands over the Hitachiin's eyes.
"Don't look at our sister!" They yell as they drag them out. "We'll smash the memory of our sister out of you!" They slam the door and I shake my head as I go into my drawers to get dressed.
Now in pajama shorts and shirt I walk out in time to see Akira and Arata about to knock out an unsuspecting Karou and Hikaru out with bats. "Akira, Arata, leave them alone." I scold, taking the bats and making Hikaru and Karou startle.
"But they-" They start.
"It was an accident. Thank you for cooking Haruhi, Shinji." I say as they are mixing and chopping food. They nod and continue their cooking.
I get a call on my phone and see who it is. "It's father." I announce and all my siblings tense.
"I don't care, you can tell him-" The twins start until Izumi and Rina smack the back of their heads.
"We're not here!" They both say and I sigh as I answer the phone, putting it on speaker. I hold it in my hand as I sit down on an arm chair.
"What?" I ask blandly.
"Have you had any contact with your siblings?" It was mother. I mouth this and they all shrink.
"No, I'm not allowed. They probably hate me anyways." I mumble, playing my part.
"Hm... Well your father and I came from a business trip and all your siblings are missing and left their credit cards so they are most likely using cash to pay people off and use it for getting around. They will be most likely heading for you." She says and I suck in a breath.
"What do I do if they come?" I ask.
"Contact me and your father immediately. We will be sending security to your apartment and have escorts-"
"No, you said you wouldn't." I say and realize too late that I should've let her finish and sounded more annoyed.
"That sounded a little rushed. You better not be covering for your siblings. If they're there you-"
"I'm having a date over." I blurt out knowing it was an ultimate defense against someone like my mother.
"Really!?" We all wince and I curse myself for choosing this excuse. "I can't believe my oldest is... Who?" She asks skeptically. "It better not be some commoner let alone a girl..." She says and I look around the room and lock eyes with Hikaru.
