Reader X Selena

A/N: request by YvennMeister (I think). Oh god it's been so long since I've updated. It's probably going to be horrible because I swear I haven't played Fire Emblem in so long. I've been playing Mass Effect and Pokemon GO (for those of you who play it, comment what team you're on). Anyway lemme get started!

You walked with Selena down the dirt path, like you did every morning. Your weapon was hanging next to you, you liked to be prepared for an attack, it made you feel safer. Selena didn't say much as they walked, though she would occasionally look up at you. The leaves above them rustled. Your grip tightened on your weapon as you became tense. Your E/C eyes darted from tree to tree. A Hoshidain ran out at Selena, but you were quicker. You being you easily defeated him.

"You have to be aware of your surroundings and prepared for this stuff," you said. Selena puffed out her cheeks and huffed.
"Whatever," Selena snapped. She frowned. "T-thanks," she added quickly. She looked at you and smiled faintly.

"You're welcome," You replied. You put your sword away and resumed walking. Selena just stared after you. She then realized that she was falling behind and quickly caught up.

  "Hey, Y/N," Selena began. You stop and turn around. "Did you saving me like that mean anything to you?" She added. You blinked.
"I don't know. Did it mean anything to you?" You ask.
"Yeah it means I trust you... and that also means that you better not break my trust," Selena replies, smirking.

   "Selena, I think I love you," You said.
"Well duh, I'm an amazing person!" Selena replied. You laughed lightly.
  "Will you marry me?" You ask, holding out a ring. You had grown fond of the morning walks, and she always made you laugh. She took the ring.

   "I...I love you..." she replied. You smiled and spotted a bird in the tree. She glared at you.
"Hey, pay attention for once, and say something sweet why don't cha!" Selena snapped. You took her had in yours and the two of you finished your walk.
