Reader X Hana

"Hayaaaa!" Hana cried, swinging her weapon at Subaki, trying to hit him. You sighed as you watched Hana and Subaki spar, Hana losing  as usual. Subaki easily dodged it, hitting her side with his lance as he went. Hana fell back, breathing heavily.

"You put up a nice fight," Subaki offered, holding his hand out to help her up, but Hana shot him a murderous glare, and got up by herself.

"Thanks," Hana spat, sarcasm edging her voice. Subaki obviously didn't detect it, because he simply smiled in return. Hana rolled her golden eyes, agitated.

Hana snorted as Subaki left, turning tail and stalking away.

"Hi, Y/N," Hana said. She was trying her best to be polite, but her anger shown through.

"You okay?" You asked, your E/C eyes glistening with concern.

"No! I always lose, because he's perfect... At least says him," Hana exclaimed, wiping her forehead.

"You're perfect in your own ways," You said.

"Ugh, I'll never be as perfect as you and Subaki," Hana sighed wistfully. You grabbed Hana's wrist tightly, causing both of your faces to flush deeply. Hana tried to tug away, incredibly embarrassed; you, however, only gripped her tighter.

"Listen, you are a huge help to everyone. If you weren't, then you wouldn't be Sakura's retainer," you explained. Hana seemed to have taken a deep interest in her feet, because she was staring at them intently, due to the tension between them.

"That's LADY Sakura to you," Hana said, half jokingly. You lightly punched Hana good naturedly in the shoulder. "Y/N, I know we're in the middle of a war and all... but I treasure these moments if I can, and never forget them. Whenever I'm with you, I feel truly happy," Hana murmured.

"Agreed, and that brings me to my next point," you said, clearing your throat. "I also feel happy, happier than I feel with anyone else, which is why I must say something," you added. Hana's intent expression urged him to proceed. "I... I love you!" You blurted, wanting it to be over. Hana grinned broadly.

"I'm so glad you told me so, I love you too," Hana said, still smiling.

"Will you marry me?" You asked, "I didn't have time to buy a ring, but money can't buy love, so I went for it anyway," you added.

"Well, of course I'll marry you!" Hana exclaimed. She hugged you before whispering into your ear, "We'll be the best couple in the world."
