*Sequel to: Broken Pieces*
----
I found a small little coffee shop here in Kansas City where I would be for a couple days. After ordering coffee I sat down at a booth and began reading the book on my phone I had just recently downloaded. Never in a thousand years did I expect anything to come of this other than drinking, reading, then heading back to the hotel.About five minutes into my book some guy with an accent asks to sit with me. Not paying much mind to him I shook my head giving him the okay to do so. Part of me felt bad for not even looking up at him.
In my defense I was at a really good part in my book. All I expected anyways was for him to sit there in silence while he drank whatever he got. But no it didn't take long for him to speak up.
"You going to drink that?" I knew he was talking to me but this book was just to good to put down.
"Probably." I shrugged then continued reading, hoping he'd get the hint and stop talking.
"What's your name?" He asked me after about thirty seconds of silence.
"Renay. What about you?" Still not looking up I decided to be more polite and at least answer.
"Thomas." His name caught my attention and brought me to reality that there was a person in front of me, who seemed to want an actual conversation.
"Cool name. One of my favorite guy names to be honest." Locking and putting my phone on the table I finally got a look at him.
Holy wow was this boy gorgeous. He had black hair and brown eyes, two features I absolutely loved on guys. And let's not forget how perfectly full his lips looked.
Little crinkles appeared next to his eyes when he smiled at me. His smile revealed perfectly white, perfect teeth. He was a perfect tan color. Chubby cheeks was an adorable feature might I add. This boy is just perfection.
"Thanks Renay. I like your name too." He said after a little pause.
He seemed to be studying me as well. I could tell he was deep in thought about something as his eyes searched my face.
"Thanks, I was born with it. I notice you have an accent, where are you from?" My curious side came out.
"I grew up in Australia but I'm half New Zealand half Scottish." Oh wow. Could he be anymore amazing.
"Wow that's amazing! What're you doing here in Missouri?"
"My mates and I are traveling the world." He sounded a bit unsure with his reply but I didn't think much of it.
"Really? I'm actually doing the same." How weird that I come across someone who is also traveling the world.
"Can I be honest with you?" I knew he sounded unsure, hopefully he feels like he can tell me whatever because it's not like I have anyone to tell.
I literally have no one I would tell. I've got no family. Well I have family but they just dropped me from their lives. No friends. They all turned their backs on me one day and never spoke another word to me. I've got literally no one. Which is why I hope he feels he can talk to me. Because hopefully I can get an actual friend.
"Of course Thomas, we may have just met but feel free to tell me anything." And with that he did exactly so.
I listened to every word that came out of his mouth. Sure I was a bit surprised that he was in a band and even more surprised that I'd never heard of them. But it made sense considering the whole 'traveling the world with my mates' thing since they're in a band and on tour. And lastly when he told me he'd introduced as his middle name I found it quite ironic.
"My actual name isn't Renay." Was my only response.
"Then what is it?" He raised an eyebrow and stared at me questioning.
"Mady. Renay is my middle name." A smirk crossed my lips while I reached for my coffee and took a drink, never breaking eye contact with Calum.
I could tell this would be the beginning of something great.
