Jen's pov
"Molly he's going to leave me. He can't handle a kid." I sob into her shoulder.
"Hey, you're stressing too much about this. You don't even know for sure. It'll be okay." She reassures.
"No it won't be, Molly. He'll leave and he's all I have. I can't do this alone." I cry.
"Hey, tomorrow night take Nat out for dinner and tell him the news. I promise it'll end up being fine." She says.
"Promise?" I ask.
"Yes." Molly smiles.
Molly leaves about an hour later and I just continue to eat Chinese food and watch movies on Netflix when I suddenly hear the door open. The tests. Shit. I blast through the living room and up into the bathroom and I wrap the tests in toilet paper and throw them in the trash.
"Jen, are you in there? Please don't tell me you're sick again.."
"No I'm okay. I'll be right out."
"Okay but I'm gonna go pick up a pizza I'll be right back."
"Okay I love you"
"Love you too"
I heard the door shut and I start to breath again and feel my heart go back to normal. That was close. I'm still not sure I can do this..*Nat's pov*
I feel like something's wrong with Jen. She just hasn't been acting right lately.. I came home and heard someone dart up the stairs and into the bathroom. It was obviously Jen. I hope pizza makes her feel better. I pull out of the driveway and turn on the radio and some old 80's music starts playing. I'm fine with it. As long as it's not country.. I arrive at the pizza shop that's really close by and I pick up the pizza I ordered 45 minutes ago along with a 2 liter of Pepsi. I get in the car and start to drive when I notice a puppy in the middle of the road shaking. I get out and see that it's a golden retriever puppy that is covered in dirt and he's wet. Poor thing must've got caught up in the storm last night.. I check for any tags and I don't see any. He's so adorable. I think I'll name him storm.. Welcome to the family storm. I can't wait until Jen sees this. I've always wanted a kid but I know she doesn't feel the same. Maybe in the future she'll change her mind.*Jen's pov*
I see the door open and my mouth drops to the floor.
"Nat. I thought you went and got a pizza. Not a dog. And why is he so dirty?" I ask.
"I did go to get a pizza. I ran into him though. Meet storm. Our new puppy." He says proudly.
"You're kidding..." I say.
"No. I'm going to go wash him off. Feel free to join!" He exclaims.
"Oh my Nat.." I mumble.
I mean don't get me wrong I love storm, even though I hate storms. But we can't have a puppy running around here with a baby too! Nat won't like that.. I decide to go in the bathroom to see how the puppy's bath is going and to ask Nat to go out to dinner with me tomorrow. I walk in and see Nat on the floor with soap all over him and he's soaking wet and storm is just on top of him looking me in the eyes with a happy grin on his face.
"Nat you're cleaning this up." I say
"One point for Storm, zero for Nat." He mumbles.
"Hey Nat, will you go out to dinner with me tomorrow? I have something important to discuss with you." I nervously say.
"Yeah sure, everything alright?" He asks concerned.
"Yeah." I say half lying.Hey sorry this chapter kinda sucks, I've Been kinda busy so I haven't gotten time to update. I would've updated sooner. I hope you guys like this.
