Rin woke up feeling better than ever. She looked around her room and looked at her alarm clock. 6:25am. Rin yawned and stretched. She was up earlier than usual, probably because she went to bed so early. She got dressed in her uniform for school, brushed her hair, and went downstairs to join everyone for breakfast. Rin ate a very light and unfilling breakfast, just like the doctor said. She was still hungry but she didn't want to stay home another day so she decided not to eat anymore foods for a while. She sat with Len and waited for the bus just like any other school morning. "I'm glad you feel better, Rin! Now we can go do more stuff together!" Len smiled cheerfully. Rin smiled and looked at Len. Rin noticed something off about her brother. "Len? Are you...alright?" She asked. Len shrugged back, "I don't know...I don't feel sick it's just...something doesn't feel right. You know? I feel like there is something off about me." Len explained. Rin nodded. "What do you feel like?" Rin asked. Len shook his head. "I don't know, honestly. I feel like there must be something wrong about something. I need...I need answers!!" Len yelled and stamped his foot. "Hey calm down!" Rin started. "It's not like the world is ending or whatever! It's going to be okay. Whenever you figure out what's wrong you can tell me. Deal?" Rin held out her hand, waiting for Len to shake it. "Alright. Deal." Len shook Rin's hand in agreement and looked over and saw the bus drive to a stop.
"Awe look, the twins were holding hands how adorable! Such cute sibling love." Neru teased. Len sat down and glared at her. "Hey, knock it off! We made a deal and I'm not telling you what it's about because I don't need you in our business anymore!" Len said. Neru glared back and turned away while all the others on the bus did their "oohs" and whatnot. Rin fist bumped Len after they got off the bus and sat down under a cherry blossom tree. "Nice move, bro. I never saw anyone stand up to Neru like that before! Well, except you." Rin giggled. Len shrugged. "Well, she doesn't need to be in our business anymore anyways. She's just jealous that I'm with you and not her." Len said. Rin nodded in understanding. The twins chatted like normal, but what they didn't know was someone was listening to thier conversation.
"So those two are incest, huh? Interesting...""Another boring day of school over and done with." Rin thought as she placed her books in her locker and gathered her homework for the evening. Rin turned and saw some group of guys approach. "Hey pretty girl. Oops! I didn't mean to call you pretty! I don't want your brother to get all jealous!" The boy bumped Rin on the shoulder. Rin stood there in shock as thoughts raced her head. "How did they find out? Did Neru tell them? Did we make it obvious? Did they see us during the summer?!" Rin thought. She gulped, and gave her signature death glare. "What do you know about me and Len? We are just close siblings, you know!" Rin gripped her bag while walking faster and faster down the hallway. The boys ran to catch up but stopped when they saw Len. "What did you do to her?" Len asked. He glared at the guys and felt rage take over his body as the guys stood there cooly. "Why? You getting worried about your sister? Or should I say, girlfriend?" The guys started to laugh loudly. Rin stopped dead in her tracks and turned in pure horror to stare at Len, who had the same exact expression. Len gritted his teeth and charged for the guy that was causing all the trouble and shoved him into the wall. "Where did you find this false information?" Len asked. The guy snickered and pushed Len away. "Get away from me! You gross freak! Incest! Neru told me all about your sick relationship. How about you do us all a favor and not show your face to this school ever again?!" The guy yelled. The boys ran out of the now empty hallway and left the twins standing there in the horrified silence. Rin fell onto her knees and started to cry. Len ran over and hugged her. "Hey...it's okay. It's gonna be okay." Len's voice trembled in doubt and fear as he tried to comfort his sister. Len also shed a few tears, then was pushed away by Rin. "No Len! It's not okay! Our life is ruined!! Can't you see?! Now how are we supposed to live life normally without people looking at us with disgust everywhere we go?!" Rin leaned herself against the wall and broke down in tears. Len stood and and reached for her but was stopped by rapid foot steps coming down the hallway. "What's going on?! Is Rin hurt?! What happened?!" Miku asked. Teto ran over to Rin and hugged her tightly. Miku hugged Len and pulled away to examine the scene. "Did somebody hurt you, Rin?" Teto asked. Rin nodded. "Did someone touch you? What happened?" Teto asked. Rin shook her head and wiped away the tears, only for more to flood out her eyes. "It's not like that, Teto. Those jocks on the basketball team found out about our relationship thanks to Neru and now our life is ruined!" Len explained. Miku covered her mouth with her hands and Teto gasped. "How could Neru do such a thing?" Miku asked. Teto hugged Rin then ran over to hug Len. "It's alright! I know how to fix this before it's too late!" Teto said. Rin tilted her head. "How? How can we fix this? I can't think of any possible ways to fix this!" Rin replied. Teto smiled. "Think about it this way: Neru is telling people about your relationship, however, you two, including us, can tell people she's making it up and make Neru look like the fool instead of you guys!" Teto said.
"How are we going to convince them, exactly?" Miku asked.
"By the power of vocaloids! I know you guys can do it because you guys are basically magic!" Teto cheered.
"Teto...that's just special effects we have on stage. Wait a minute...LEN!" Rin yelled. Len jumped in surprise. "Huh? What? What is it?" He asked.
"We can all make people think it's all a big joke! Like, those boys can believe it all they want, but when we go on stage for the school talent show we can play a song that makes it look like we're in a relationship, then trick them into thinking we were talking about the song the entire time!" Rin stopped and gasped for air and fangirled in happiness with Miku. Len stood there processing everything while Rin and Miku danced like dorks in the hallway and Teto stared admiringly at him. "But...what song do we have that makes it look like we have a relationship?" Len asked. Rin face palmed and walked over to Len. "Len...Magnet." Rin said. "What about magnets?...Wait" Len stared at Rin and gasped. "Rin that's genius! Oh my gosh this is perfect! So our lives are saved after all!" Len cheered. Miku cheered with him for a moment before pausing. "Wait you guys! What if they don't think it's apart of the song and they think you are singing the song because you are in a relationship?" Miku asked.
"Well then they're gonna have to get over it!" Rin said. They all cheered happily and Rin sighed in relief. "Uhh...how are we all gonna get home?" Len asked. Everyone froze in realization that they missed the bus, and that they all have been there for a little over 10 to 15 minutes. "We can call Luka...she'll understand once we explain our reason." Rin suggested."So that's what you're going to do? How about I call the principle tonight and arrange a private meeting tomorrow and work things out?" Luka asked. Rin looked up from doing her homework and dropped her pencil. "No! Not many people know about us! Thankfully, but still! Maybe you should wait until he at least calls you instead?" Rin smiled sheepishly. Luka sighed and set down her cellphone. "Alright, alright. Well...okay. That's fine with me but don't feel sorry for yourself when things go wrong at the talent show." Luka said. Rin frowned and her bow wilted as she looked at Luka with puppy dog eyes. "Hey don't say that! Things are gonna work! We will sing the songs and explain it to people who ask and everything will be fine!" Rin smiled and patted Luka on the shoulder. "Alright, if you say so." Luka replied.
