"That was your father?" Liam asks, very confused.
"He was put in jail for abuse when I was younger. He used to abuse my mother and I. He got last year and he has come to my flat a few times but I told him that he's not welcome here. This was the first time he came here and threatened to kill me." I explain softly.
He hugs me tightly.
"I'm not leaving you here alone for a while, it's to dangerous for you to be by yourself." He says softly.
I nod my head.
"I'm glad that you hadn't left yet. I would probably be dead if you had already gone." I whisper, still shaking a bit.
"Do you think that he will come back?" He asks me.
"I think he will. He was certainly trying to kill me. This time he got very close to doing so, but if there is a next time who says that he might actually do it." I say.
Liam pulls me to my feet and hugs me closely.
"I'm not leaving you here alone tonight." He whispers.
"Thanks, Liam." I reply.
He takes my hand and leads me away from the door.
"Are you sure you're okay?" He asks.
"Yes I'm sure." I say.
He softly pushes me down on to the couch. "I'm not letting that man back in here, ever." He reassures.
I nod slowly.
If my father came in here once, then I can guarantee that he will come back and I am not sure that Liam would be able to keep my father from killing me, let alone the both of us.
I can tell the my father already really hates Liam, and there is nothing that my father won't do to try and break up our relationship.
