Prologue
The other car slams into ours. My door caves inward and the window shatters. Glass goes every where.
The car spins because of the impact. My eyes sting and everything becomes blurry then goes black even though my eyes are open. I can still feel the car spinning though and I can hear the sirens blaring loudly. I feel a warm sticky liquid running down my arms.
"Ma'am can you hear me?" Someone asks urgently.
I nod my head slowly.
Someone helps me out of the car and asks if I can walk.
All I do is shrug.
I look around listening to everything happening around me. I blink a few times trying to clear my vision but everything stays black.
At that moment I realize that I had gone blind.
