"God Liam, why didn't you tell me that you were this gorgeous?" I ask as I cup his checks in my hands.

He grins and chuckles, "Never thought about if."

I glance down at his arms again, "You have tattoos?" I gasp as I hold his arm up for me to look at.

One arm has a feather, hieroglyphics, 'I figured it out', 'Only time will tell' and four chevron arrows.

"A-are they okay? Do you not like them?" He stutters as he pulls his arm from my grasp after I hadn't said anything for a few moments.

"No." I shake my head. "I think they are beautiful. And their meanings must be deep." I smile up at him and he sighs in relief.

"Good, I was worried that you wouldn't like them." He sighs as he wraps his arms back around me.

"I think that they are very meaning full and if it means enough for you to get it inked onto your body to stay there forever, them it must be pretty darn important." I whisper as I nuzzle my face into his neck.

"You know Harry has tattoos too?" Liam asks.

"What? Why didn't he ever tell me? I feel so left out. I have to get caught up on everything." I groan.

        Liam laughs.

"Hey, it's not funny. I was blind for the last few years of my life." I huff as I playfully cross my arms.

"You're so cute when you get like that." Liam grins as he boops my nose.

I pout as he pulls me back into his arms.

"I never want to let you go. I will never let anything happen to you again." He says, suddenly very serious.

"Did they catch my father?" I ask quietly.

"No, he got away. He went out the back door right after he shot you. He even threatened me." Liam answers softly.

"What did he say?" I question, glancing up at him to see a grim frown set upon his features.

"He said that if you didn't die, then I would." He looks down at me biting his lip.

"Liam," I sigh. "You and I both know that it won't happen. We're both to strong for him to ever do any real damage."

"But what if he did? What would happen to you? Who would be there to protect you?" He cups my cheeks in his hands.  "I don't want you to get hurt again."

"But me getting hurt was the price I had to pay to get my eyesight back. Now you don't have to walk around with a blind freak." I whisper.

"Cassie, you were never a blind freak. You were beautiful, and you are beautiful right now. That's what I love about you, I love how you may have been physically blind, but mentally, sweetheart you could see into people. You could tell who they are in seconds, just by the way they talk or treat people. That's what I love about you." Liam whispers back as he leans his forehead against mine and nuzzles our noses together in an Eskimo kiss.

"Hello? Is it alright to come in or am I interrupting something?" I hear the Doctor come back into the room.

Liam pulls away, his cheeks flushing red. "It's fine."

"Now let's see how your eyesight is."
