Taylor's POV

Victoria stayed with me until her mom called her and told her that she had to talk to Charles. After she left I decided to watch a movie. I love movies, I don't even have to be with someone to watch one. I decided to go with my all time favorite Tim Burton film "The Nightmare Before Christmas". I popped in the movie and curled up in blankets on the couch. My twinkle lights lit up the room generating a cozy feeling. I've watched the movie so many times I have a habit of quoting the movie. Soon after the movie finished I went into my room and fell asleep.

The next morning I was awaking with Austin calling me.

"Hello?" I said rubbing my eyes.

"Hey, Taylor I'm on my way!" Austin said, I could hear Eva saying "bye bye" in the background.

"Oh crap! I totally forgot! Ok um just give me ten minutes."

I said goodbye and quickly got dressed. I put on my red and black plaid shirt, leaving it unbuttoned with my Panic at the Disco band t-shirt underneath. Then I slipped on some skinny jeans with black studded combat boots. When I was done getting dressed I quickly pulled my hair to a side braid and slipped on my glasses.I won't be wearing make-up today because all my bruises are healed!! After that I brushed my teeth, grabbed my bag and waited for Austin. He arrived a few minutes after I sat down on the couch.

I walked outside and climbed into his jeep.

"Good morning." He said as I buckled my seat belt, "You look pretty"

"Morning." I paused, ignoring his 'pretty' comment, "So what exactly do friends do? Like Victoria is my friend but we don't do normal 'friend' things."

"Well, friends take each other to school, hang out outside of school, and we eat lunch together."

"Will we eat lunch together, because um usually I eat lunch on my bench alone. I'm not really welcome in the lunchroom." I sighed, it's true people thought of me as a freak, and I just accept it.

"Yes Taylor we will eat lunch together. Just wait till lunch it'll all work out, okay?" He looked over at me waiting for my answer.

"Okay." I gulped.

We arrived at school shortly. I climbed out of the car and grabbed my bag.

"Austin." I whispered, racking my brain for ways I could get out of eating lunch with him, "what if you ate outside with me?"

"Ha, nope." He said, chuckling,"You'll be fine."

"Okay, but I'm inviting Victoria to eat with us!" I said, sticking my tonge out at him.

"Whatever floats your boat." He said turning to go to his locker.

I opened my locker and put away my bag and grabbed my books. As I turned to walk to my first class I felt my phone vibrate.

Victoria- Hey won't b at school cuz im sick. :(

I gulped. Now I have to eat lunch with Austin and his friends, alone.

I watched the clock in all of my classes to see if the time would go slower, but apparently if you don't want time to pass them it'll go faster. The dreaded hour came, and I walked out of the classroom to find Austin leaning against the wall waiting.
