"What do you think you were doing?" angrily he held her arm and pinned her against the wall...
She winced at once as his strong hands encircled her arms "you're hurting me Veer"
He did not move at all instead his grip was stronger now...she looked in his eyes filled with wrath.
"I don't care" he whispered coming closer to her face
Both her arms were pinned above her head against the wall... she rolled her eyes at him "nothing new for me. I know you don't care...now leave me"
She tried pushing him away and his frown deepened "listen to me Aarti"
He whispered angrily
"Why should I listen to you?" she hissed at him...
Veer was now getting frustrated at her retorting "enough Aarti... I won't ever ask you anything now"
He pushed her on the bed and walked away angrily...
This time tears didn't stop from her eyes...
She looked at the red marks of his fingers on her wrist... "When will you understand Veer....that I need you" she cried the whole night...

Next Day
Everyone gathered in the lounge... it was almost time to leave back to their homes...
"I will miss you Aarti...but you will be coming on our wedding" Sheetal hugged her friend
"Let's leave now...whom are we waiting for?" Sameer picked up the bags
"Where's Veer... how can Aarti go alone to Mumbai?" Sheetal queried
"Well Veer had to leave last night...but we will drop her to the airport" Sameer looked at Sheetal who was more concerned about Aarti now...
Aarti looked at her friends and smiled a little "it's alright Sheetal... I am not a small baby."
Everyone left for their places except Aarti who was still sitting at the airport thinking about her life. She knew Veer was rude but he will be so insensitive she never knew this.
After few hours...
As soon as Aarti came out of the airport Mr Oberoi gave a broad smile
"Dad....how are you?"
"My lovely Daughter... now I am happy." Mr Oberoi glanced around "where's Veer?"
Aarti didn't wanted Mr Oberoi to know anything about their dry relation "oh, he got some urgent work so he had to leave early"
"Early? But he hasn't come home yet" Mr Oberoi looked thoughtful
"No Dad...I mean he must have left for Dehradun..." Aarti quickly responded
"Oh...yes yes ...he said he had to join. But why didn't you go with him?" Mr Oberoi looked at Aarti... who constantly glanced everywhere else "Dad...how can I leave you and go...?"
Mr Oberoi smiled "oh no... Aarti now you're married. You must go where Veer goes"
Aarti wondered what to say to Mr Oberoi "ok Dad...I will leave in a few days"
Mr Oberoi smiled....

Two days later
Aarti was still lying on the bed thinking about Veer... "Not even once have you called me Veer"
She stared at her phone for a while then thought of calling him "no, why should I call him?"
