Yeah, I Rejected You

Final Author's Note Here!

I gave Shayla another hug and she held onto me tightly.

"Thanks for the happy ending," she says and I grin.

"All of you deserve it! Besides, you've always liked Chase right?" I wiggle my eyebrows. She, Ashlyn, Cole, Chase, and his friends laugh.

"No one needed to know that!" she playfully punches my arm, "You'd better go now, your flight is in an hour."

"I'll come to visit often!" I yell as I give each and every one of my characters one last hug. I'm a hugger! What can I say?

They wave and laugh as I drive the car away from what has been my home, adventure, and family for two months. I feel the tears stinging at the corners of my eyes as I drive farther away, the cozy mansion turning into nothing but a speck in my rear view mirror.

I will be back.

I can't believe I actually finished writing this... All of you readers - yes, you, you reading this message - are so important to me, and is the key to the completion of Yeah, I Rejected You, In the beginning, I never even thought it'd even reach 500 reads, and I only intended it to be a really short and simple story! But all of your crazy awesome support turned this into more than a simple story, but you've also improved my writing skills and confidence with posting my stories. I honestly don't know what to do without you guys!!! *group hug*

A HUGE thank you to every single one of you, especially the several who have been reading this since I've posted the first chapter; I love you guys so freaking much, you have absolutely no idea!

"Shayla! You've got to help me press that button!" I yelled. She just laughed.

"It's just a button! What's so scary about a button?" Ashlyn asks, coming in through the door and handing Shayla and I each a glass of lemonade.

I point at my computer screen, "That button. The button that marks the story as completed!"

"Okay, that is scary," Ashlyn admits. Shayla rolls her eyes as Chase, Cole, Evan, Logan and Jake enter the room.

"What's the special occasion?" Evan asks.

"The completion button."

"Ahh..." the five of them say in unison.

"Then why aren't you clicking it, Wren?" Cole says.

"It doesn't seem real!" I wail.

"Okay, you know what? Move over, and let me click it!" Evan makes his way and holds his finger above my trackpad. "I can't do it. It's scary." Evan sheepishly admits.

"See! I told you so!" Everyone laughs as Evan retreats away from my laptop.

Jake turns on his phone and plays dramatic music from what I recognized was from the movie soundtrack of The Hunger Games.

"Well? What should we do?" Chase asks as he wraps his arm around Shayla. I nearly melt at the awfully cute sight before my eyes. How sweet!!!

"How about this, let's give the honors to the finally accepted Alpha Chase and Luna Shayla!" I exclaim.

"Sure!" everyone agrees and makes way for the couple, holding hands, enters within a 30 centimeter radius of my computer.

"You ready?" Chase whispers to Shayla. She nods. I don't resist the smile that breaks off into my face and Ashlyn's squeal.

The arrow made it's way to the completion button. Everyone sucked in a breath. Click.

Yeah, I Rejected You was no longer an ongoing series, but completed! I nearly dropped my laptop as my dear characters rejoiced and gave me tight bear hugs.

A lovely ending, I must say.
