Lilli's POV
I grabbed my lunch from the man handing it to me and gave him his money.
"Lilli!" I heard someone say. I turned around and saw Spencer running towards me.
"Hey," I greeted.
"Hi." She said, finally reaching me.
"What's up?" I asked, casually.
"Well, a lot of things actually." She admitted.
"Like what?"
"First of all, there's something you need to know." She said.
I stayed silent.
"I'm you birth mother," she looked generally happy about it, like she was waiting to see my reaction.
I couldn't stop the smile from growing on my face, no matter how confused I was. "Wait! What?!" I asked.
"I know. It's a lot to take in," she said slowly.
"You lied to me," I realized, my smile fading. "You never wanted to help me find her! You just wanted to take the attention off yourself!"
"I made a mistake." She said. "I'll admit that is what I wanted to do but it's not what I want anymore,"
"What do you want then?" I remarked.
"You." She answered. "I will fight for custody. If you want."
I froze. "You want me?"
She nodded, enthusiastically.
"But- but what about your husband and- and Sophie," I stuttered.
"Toby wants you too, and we'll deal with Sophie," I reassured.
I nearly collapsed with joy, sadness and overall shock; But Spencer pulled me into a tight hug. I hugged her back, never wanting to let go.
