Dumbledore stood up. The atmosphere changed suddenly into a tense one. His blue eyes were so scary that I inwardly trembled. Dumbledore looked so tall and fierce in his anger that even I stood up and backed away. His wand (I think) in his hands gave off sparks.

“Severus! Elvis you tell Severus I’m in the headquarters right now,” the headmaster said anger still enveloping his voice, without looking at me. Then he pulled the short man by the scruff of his neck, took something out from his pocket, put it in the fire… and the fire turned green! He pulled the short man in front of him roughly and put him inside the flames! Was he going to burn the man ALIVE? “No!” I screamed. He couldn’t be that cruel. He couldn’t, he couldn’t. Then he himself entered the fire with a loud declaration, “Number twelve, Grimmauld Place, London,” and disappeared with the short man.

I stood cowering against the wall, gaping at the now red flames of fire. I HAD to do something! Frantically I looked around when the door burst open and the man who had escorted me entered, his gaunt face serious, his wand out.  “Where is he?” he asked me.

“He told me to tell you that he’s gone to the headquarters. We have to do something! They jumped in the fire and just... disappeared!” It didn't occur to me then that it could be magic that caused it.

His eyes narrowed, “what made him to leave so immediately?”

“Well, a drunken man appeared out of thin air who looked very shaken. He informed Dumbledore that well, some Potter had attacked demon-something. Then Dumbledore turned all angry and disappeared from the fireplace with that messenger.” I looked at him expectantly, hoping he would explain to me. When he didn’t though, and kept staring outside from the window with his back to me I said, “Can you please explain all this to me, um, whoever you are?”

“That,” he spoke softly but of course there was no emotion in them “is the job of your new ‘teacher’. You shall call me Professor Snape.”

Why was his tone so sarcastic? No one could have mistaken his sarcastic tone. Exasperated, I looked around at the pictures stuck on the wall one by one. My head was feeling groggy and tired; I hadn’t even had a good night sleep! Just as my eyes reached to scan a picture of a man snoring, the man in the picture jumped up! When my mouth hung open in shock, he winked at me and fell back asleep again.

Oh my god, was I seeing PICTURES now? I pinched myself awake. What an exhausting day. I looked back to that picture again. I must’ve imagined it all.

10 minutes passed. It was all so quiet. It was as if I was the only human being in this room, Snape was clearly not a man of many words.

I was feeling so sleepy, it took all my strength to not fall asleep. I don’t know how long passed but suddenly Snape was telling me, “We need to go now.”

“Go where?” I asked drowsily.

“To meet your tutor.”

“Tutor?”

I saw Snape whisperring something and then a waterfall had erupted from the man's wand which hit me on the face!!

What the hell!! All grogginess vanished away replaced by anger. I was soaked in water and there was the culprit with a smooth expression on his face as though nothing had happened!  I got up and he turned away from me.

“Now you look awake," he smirked. I was staring at him open mouthed. He turned away and something out from his pocket. He put it inside the fire making the fire turn green. Then he turned to look at me, “It would be better if we both go together since this is your first time. Of course I would do anything to not to come with fools but Dumbledore has left me with no choice.”
