"No.." I speak. Josh's lifeless body lies before me.
"..No! Please!"
Tears streaming down my face, I throw myself at his side and take his hand in mine, waiting for him to awake. Suddenly, he takes a huge gasp of air and begins to cough.
"Oh thank god!" I say as I take him in my arms.
"Aaaaand, cut! Great job guys! Were going back to scene 19, the night before the Quarter Quell, everybody take 20!"
I stand up and help Josh to his feet. We only have 3 weeks left of filming, and I'm trying to make the most of everything before it ends.
"I bet those tears were real," Josh teases. "I knew you had a heart deep down."
"Or I'm just that good an actress," I tease back. "Don't flatter yourself." I smile.
We walk towards the snack bar and he grabs two apples. One for each of us.
"Oh don't tell me you wouldn't cry if I died." he speaks with a smile on his face.
"I'd wear crocs to your funeral," I say.
He starts into a small laughter and I join in. I look up and see Liam coming our way.
"Stop laughing so loud, you guys are like the annoying, younger siblings I never wanted." Liam smirks.
He always makes fun of us. Sure, he may look big and intimidating sometimes, but he's the biggest teddy bear on the planet.
"Love you too, big guy," says Josh as he embraces Liam in a hug.
It's quite a funny site considering Josh is trying to hug a man that is about a foot taller than him."Should I go, I don't want to interrupt this beautiful, beautiful site," says Sam Claflin. He's a newcomer to the Hunger Games crew, but he fit in as soon as he stepped on set.
"Actually, I was just leaving. Josh here needs to find himself someone else to attack with bear hugs, he's a bit too lonely," says Liam.
Sam and I laugh and I nudge Josh's arm. A smirk forms on his face.
That smirk."I'm just getting a snack, don't attack me with a hug" and he heads in the direction of the film spot. Liam follows.
"Hey what are you doing tonight?" Josh asks taking a bite of his apple.
His eyes trail off to the side and then to the ground.Sometimes after filming all day, we go back to Josh's trailer and watch movies.
"Oh you wanna have a movie night?"
I smile at him."Yeah," he half smiles. "Yeah, just come over to the trailer after filming, you know, the usual. I thought it'd be nice to-" he pauses mid sentence, "to have one before our big interview tomorrow." He says flushed.
What's wrong with him?"Yeah okay, yah dork," I smile at him.
He heads off towards set. I turn to follow him. Something seems to be bothering Josh. He'll probably tell me whatever it is when we have movie night. My thoughts are interrupted when Nicholas walks through the set doors.
Nicholas and I have been together for almost 2 years, and with him and I both doing movies, it's harder for us to see each other and communicate. This is the first time we've seen each other in four months.
"Hey Nicholas" I say quietly and smile.
"Hello Jen." he says with his British accent and a half smile.
"Why'd you come here,"
I ask him. The words slip out of my mouth colder than I had intended."I just wanted to see you, relax. Aren't you happy I surprised you?" he hugs me.
"Oh." I hug back. "Sorry, yes, I'm so happy you're here. Thank you for visiting." I say
"I know we haven't been seeing each other lately, I'm sorry." he's been working on a movie in Scotland for the past two months.
"It's alright. I've been busy too. You can watch me film my next scene." I smile at him
"Sounds wonderful." We walk back to my trailer and I change wardrobe for the scene.
The scene is the night before the big Quarter Quell, when Peeta and Katniss come back to the apartment after their interviews with Caesar.
I step into my black knit leggings and a green cardigan with a white T-shirt. You think it'd look like a regular outfit, but these wardrobe people find some way to make it look engaging. As soon as my make up and hair are touched up, I head to set with Nicholas.
"So what are you doing tonight? I was hoping we could go out," he smiles at me.
"Actually, I already made plans with Josh. We're having a movie night tonight. I'm sorry." I say waiting for his reply
He doesn't.
"He thought it'd be nice to have one before our interview we have tomorrow," I say, trying to get a response from him.
"Alright," he nods. "I get it, I understand." he half smiles.
He's upset. He has nothing to be upset about. Sometimes I swear he just looks for the smallest thing to bicker over.
We get to set and Nicholas takes a seat to the side. I make my way to the elevator that we start our scene in, and join Woody, Elizabeth, and Josh.
Josh places a hand at my hip and I nudge him.
"What are you doing?"
"It's in the script, duh."
"But we haven't started filing yet.."
"But we are soon." he says. "And I'm a famous actor with lots of money, I do what I want," says Josh, trying to sound like a boasting millionaire.
I giggle at his attempt to sound stuck up. He smiles at me.
"I'm totally joking." he smirks.
"Don't get a big head now," I say and he shakes his head with a smile.
I look up and find Nicholas. He had been watching us. And I don't think he finds the situation very humorous.
•Okay this was written before Catching Fire actually came out. I know that some of what I've written wasn't in the actual movie, but please just go along with it!
