Me right up there ^^^^^
(F/N P.O.V)
I opened my eyes, sunlight hitting my face blindingly. I groaned, and squinted, trying to adjust to the light. "Hey babe," I smiled as I heard Vic's voice. The light was suddenly gone and I opened my eyes to see Vic by the blinds, closing them. "How do you feel?" I lifted my head slightly, looking around the room. Oh yeah, this isn't a dream. I looked to my side and saw a needle in my arm. Vic noticed and sat down next to me. "They came in here about half an hour ago, the round is almost done today,""I feel really hungry," I said after nodding, stretching out my arms. This bed is really uncomfortable.
"That's normal," I looked at Vic thoughtfully. "Yes yes, I read the entire book," I smiled slightly. The entire book? I giggled and laid my head back. "It said you should feel a bit of pain for the next week or so, but nothing terrible," I nodded.
"Where'd everyone go?"
"You passed out while we were eating ice cream darling," I smiled, remembering the fun time we had yesterday.
"When will I get to go home?" I thought aloud, meeting Vic's eyes. He sighed, scooting towards me and placing a kiss on my head.
"Not until next week, to make sure the chemo is working okay with your body," it seemed to be going just fine for now. I feel like crap but I feel happy and excited. It's like being on my period except continuously.
"Just promise to stay with me?" Vic smiled.
"I'd never leave," he leaned down and placed his lips on top of mine. I smiled, lifting up my free arm and setting it around his neck. The way his lips worked with mine made me completely forget where I am. He hovered over me slightly and continued the passionate kiss. "I'm going to be honest baby," I smirked slightly as he spoke so dangerously close to my lips.
"Yea?" He hummed in response.
"I cannot wait to fuck you when you can come home," I blushed profoundly and bit my lip.
"Neither can I," I grinned, pressing our lips together once again. I pulled away slowly and looked at the IV dripping. I sighed. "How much longer with this thing in my arm?" I groaned.
"About 25 minutes," he told me.
"I'll be counting," I muttered, wringing my hands together.
"Are you alright?" Vic asked me. I nodded, leaning my head against the bed.
"I'm just thinking,"
"About what?" He asked.
"The future," I could tell Vic tensed up slight but he still put his hand on top of mine.
"It's going to be okay (f/n), just think of the now," I smiled as Vic lifted my hand to his lips. He makes me so happy, even during all of this.
"I'd say get a room but you are in a room," I turned my head and grinned when I saw Jaime, Mike, and Tony coming into the room.
"Hey guys," I beamed, extending out my arms for them to give me hugs.
"Guess what I brought?" Jaime grinned, moving over next to me. He pulled out something from his pocket: a stack of cards.
"Cards?" I asked with a giggle. Vic made his way over to Tony and Mike. They started whispering about something but I didn't pay any attention to it.
"Yup. I have a few tricks up my sleeve,"
"Do you now?" He nodded, taking the cards out of the deck and placing them on the bed in front of me.
(Vic's P.O.V)
I watched Jaime show (f/n) magic tricks with a smile. The way her eyes lit up when the trick worked, the way her lips curled into a smile, her melodic laughter, all of it is so perfect. Cheesy, I know, but that's what I am. They guys and I planned to have a little picnic in here which was another on her bucket list. I was surprised when she told me she's never been on a picnic and I instantly knew I wanted to give her one.
