We're just getting to know more about each other.

●YOUNGJAE POV●

"You made me feel like I had someone special again." Lien said.

Someone special.... me?

My eyes looked at hers, she stared into mine, and I felt an electric current running through my body. It felt like she stared into my soul.

I thought hard on what to say to break the intense silence between us.

"Ohh umm *cough* you skipped school just to come here?" I asked without even thinking twice, its like i'm back to square one, making myself feel guilty again. I made her skip the whole entire school hour!

"Its okay, only once." She said and gave me her heart warming smile.

"Youve always had perfect attendance?" I asked and she nodded in agreement. Darn, I ruined her perfect attendance.

"But its okay! This is not your fault, I wanted to come myself." She added and my shoulder lightened, phew. "Hmm, so how is it being the popular girl in school?" I asked. "Not good, not good at all." She answered, looking down and cupping her hands around the hot chocolate drink.

"Why is that so?" I asked with a curious face, I thought being popular is the highest rank in schools.

"Its not that easy as you think, people have high expectations of us, we always have to have perfect hair, pretty clothes, expensive things and the latest trends that people will only dream of having, it's hard, you know?" She said and let out a heavy sigh. Now that I think of it, I feel pity for her.

"Ohh." I simply answered as she stared blankly at my window and smiled. I looked at her angelic face as the soft ray of sunlight touched her skin.

We then chatted like that for hours, I asked her about her hobby, what she likes to do, and what she enjoy doing.

It turns out that she is completely different from other popular and rich girls. She isn't fond of pretty things, she loves riding bikes and reading books like me.

We have some things in common, but there is one thing i'm certain about, Lien and I come from a totally different background.

After all the questions being answered, we both decided to take a short nap. I slept on the floor and Lien slept peacefully on my couch as the calming rain sound tapped my window.

[6 pm]

I open my eyes to see Lien still sleeping, I took a look at the time on my phone and got up slowly so I wont wake her up.

As I was just about to go to the kitchen, Lien said with her sleepy voice, "Youngjae, what time is it?"

"Its around 6 o'clock now." I replied and laughed a bit because of her sleepy face and voice.

"What?! We slept for so many hours? It was supposed to be a light nap so I can make you dinner!" She jumped up from the sofa and pulled me to sit down.

"Wait here while I make you dinner, you have to try my special dish hehehe." She said.

"Lien you dont have to! We can just order pizza."

"No can do, play games in your phone or something, it'll take some time." She demanded and handed me my phone.

With that, she walked towards my kitchen and started searching through my fridge and my cupboard full of food, mostly snacks and junk food for that matter.

I decided to just play minion rush on my phone, they're so tiny and squishy, my high score is impossible to be beaten. MUAHAH.

After all the fidgeting on my phone,"Youngjae!! I'm done! Come to the dining table." Lien called out. I took a look at my watch and realize that its already 7 15pm. It must be delicious, I could smell the strong aroma runnung through my house. It smelled like noodles! Yumm..........

As I walked towards the dining table and sat down, I saw her dish and I was astonished. It looked amazingly relishing and tasty! Her presentation of the dish was delightful, how did she turn my kitchen full of junk food into this?

"Its my creamy chicken and mushroom fetuccini! Dig in!" She said, giving me fork and spoon. She set the table neatly, plates and cups were placed on coasters which she found in my stuffed cabinet I suppose, I never used them before in my life.

"Lets just see if it is better than my junk food." I joked and smirked which made Lien chuckle.

I took the first taste of her good-looking dish and it was just

AMAZING!!! I cant help but just taste more. It has a perfect balance of cream, enhanced by the accurately even slices of mushroom.

The taste was heavenly,

"I-its del- its amazing!" I blurted out. I could just finish it in a minute!

" Huh!! You see, I told you you'll like it." She said and laughed.

"I guess you're right." I said and took a gulp of plain water.

"Your mouth." she said, it looks like she was holding back a laugh.

"Hmm?" I asked, raising an eyebrow. What is wrong with my mouth?

"You have a cream mustache, haha." She pointed out. I quickly took a tissue and wiped it off, embarassed. But there wasnt anything on the tissue!

"Hey, I dont have cream on my mouth." I said and realized she tricked me.

She finally couldnt hold back her laugh and she exploded with laughter.

"Yah! You tricked me!" I shouted and also laughed for being so gullible.

"I guess I can just trick you more!!!" She said in between her laugh.

I couldnt be mad at her so I joined her laugh parade too. Her laugh is contagious, it was hilarious to say the least.

*Beepppp*

A car honked from outside my house, which ended out laughing session.

"Ohh! My car is here!" Lien got up from her seat and realized she was still wearing my clothes. "Ohh, um i'll return your clothes tomorrow, thank you, I had fun today."

"I had fun too." I said as I escorted her out of my house. I waved her goodbye and she did the same.

Today really felt different. I wasnt a lonely guy who sits around eating junk food being a couch potato.

I didnt feel lonely.
