Her Eyes

▷JUNG DAEHYUN'S POV◁

       "Yah, forget about her, she left you with no reason, she isn't worth it. Plus, you have been crying like a little baby eversince." Zelo said, eating his bag of chips at the same time.

I shot him a death glare. Yes, she left me without a reason, but she is someone that would never do that, she even promised me. I cant let go of her. I stood up from my bed, grabbed my coat and went out of my dorm room.

I need to see her, I could die without seeing her face and getting to know why she has to leave so suddenly.

     It's half past noon. She would be at the library by now. I ran towards our college's North library, where So Mi would always be, studying, focusing hard until the point where she didnt even notice me sitting in front of her, waiting for her cute response.

I rushed through the sliding door that led into the library, and swiped my student ID card. I searched for her seat, D107. But, she wasn't there. I leaned on the wall to catch my breath, why isn't she here.

        "Oppa..." That voice sent me a shiver down my spine, a voice I yearned to hear, to explain to me why. I turned instantly and faced her. I took a step forward and held her hand.

        "So Mi ah, tell me the reason, please, I know that you haven't lost your feelings for me, what's wrong?" I asked as a new set of tears rolled down her pretty face. She gathered herself after a while, and shook her head in silence.

         "I, dont want you to get hurt." She said, barely a whisper. My mind went into wonder.

         "What do you mean by that? Of course I won't get hurt, i'm totally fine!" I said.

"Shhhhhh. Can you two lovebirds take your tense moment out of the library?" A girl with a green sweater stated sternly. I bowed as a form apology.

             "Lets go outside." I demanded and held her hand.

             "Let go of me, I can't follow you anywhere Daehyun ah, please, listen to me." She said, her voice was different, it was filled with sorrow and fright. I can't bare seeing her like this. She slowly loosened her hand from my grip, and looked at me with sincere eyes.

Her eyes were trying to tell me something.

Her eyes were hiding a secret.

Her eyes were grieving.

Her eyes, were once beautiful and full of life.

Her eyes, her soul, her sorrow, her grief, her problems.

I want to know why.
