What has happened

FLASHBACK TO 3 MONTHS AGO

∞CHUNG SO MI'S POV ∞

        My brother, my mother and my father were eating our dinner at home. Silence were surrounding all of us, the only sound that has been made was our spoons scraping against our plate full of scrumptious and mouth watering food. This is weird, I thought to myself. My mother seemed to be giving me eye signals to continue eating my food, she looks worried about something.

          "Everyone, listen." My father said.

My brother and I exhanged looks, what is he planning to say with such a strict atmoshphere. We all put our spoons and chopsticks down and sat straight on our custom made dinning chairs.

          "Your brother is going to be the heir of our family's company, so I do not want there to be a distraction for him at all. I will let him into my office and learn about the basics of the company." He stated.

I let out a soft gasp, my father has never let anyone enter his office before, besides his secretary and assistants.

           "But father, w-what do you mean by distraction?"

           "It means, you will be working hard to learn more about Chung Company, you will have to be in my office, until you get everything right, you cannot see your sister or your mother for at least a month." He replied in a low tone.

            "WHAT?! So you mean I cant see my own sister? or mother?" My brother stood up in shock.

There's one thing that only my brother and I know, is that my brother has a girlfriend. Yeah, I am allowed to have a love bird's status, but unlike my brother, which will become the heir of the highest paying company in Korea, will have to be alone until he has become an advantage for the Chung Company. Silly rule, right?

It scared me more, a week ago, my father asked me seriously in private, whether my brother was dating or not, I wanted to lie but i'm someone who doesnt like the idea of it. So I stupidly said yes. I tried to cover it up but it was no use. My father showed me some pictures of my brother and his girlfriend walking along the streets of Seoul. He must've told someone to follow them as well.

           "Yes, you can't, and I have heard, that you have someone that you...love?" My father directed it to my brother.

I bit my lower lip, I felt so guilty. His girlfriend is his world, he never stops talking about her non existing flaws.

          "H-how did you know?" He asked, as his eyes teared up.

          "Your sister told me." He answered straight away.

          I quickly stood up and went to the other side of the dining table where my brother was standing.

        "Oppa, I'm so sorry, I didnt have a choice." I said as I grabbed his arm.

        "You promised me not to t-tell anyone!" He shouted at me and pulled his arm away from my grip, his expression was beyond scary. Ive never seen him like this before.

       "Your sister did the right thing." My mother stated, but with a worried expression on her face.

My brother didn't listen to her. He was glaring at me with clenched fist. I felt afraid so I took a step back, my brother didnt seem like my brother anymore, he was never like this.

Im sorry, oppa, I didnt mean to do this to you. I thought to myself.

        "Now, break up with her and she will not be harmed." My father spoke once again, stood up and went out of the room.

My brother, Chung Jae Kyung, broke down and threw his plate against the wall. I got startled, "Please dont do this!" I said. His eyes were full of anger, he walked towards me and cornered me against the wall. He looked at me with fire in his eyes.

           "One day, I will get my revenge on you." He said.
