♚[2 YEARS LATER]♚

MY POV

"Give it up for the girl that topped the music charts for the second time this year! Here she is......... PARK LIEN!!" The host announced on stage.

Here I am, backstage of Music Bank with BAP, Exo K, Sistar and other amazing performers. Hearing my name getting announced. I debuted with flying colours, it has been a roller coaster rid I suppose. I passed the audition, Youngjae is successful in studies as well as his comeback BADMAN with BAP. Eventhough I am a well known singer now, I am still fangirling over BAP! HEHEHE

As for my parents, my father recovered and now that i'm a girl making a lot of money through concerts and showcases, I bought a house big enough for both my father and mother. Unfortunately, my father cant really do much work for the sake of his health, therefore, i'm now the breadwinner of the household!

It is hard but i'm happy with what i've achieved over these years. I wouldve never been this successful without the help and encouragement from my best friend, Youngjae.

"Lien, go up and rock the stage." Yongguk nudged my arm and laughed in his low voice.

"Good luck! Good luck! hehe." Zelo jumped up and down in his 'Badman' clothes. BAP looked so awesome~

"Break a leg! Umm I mean, uh not literally break a leg, all the best up there, eventhough now you can captivate the audience with your angelic voice." Himchan spoke. HAHA Everyone laughed, because of how Himchan spoke with such a serious tone.

"Park Lien, it is your turn to go up the stage." The person in charge of the stage came up to me.

"Okay, but where is Youngjae?" I said, looking around to spot him but he wasnt there. I took a deep breath, like I always do before going up to the stage and drank water.

I was given a silver and black microphone which matched my black laced dress along with silver chandelier-like pair earring.

"LIEN LIEN LIEN LIEN LIEN LIEN." The audience chanted and cheered with all their might as I made my way onto the stage.

The way they chanted made me feel like I was in school again. I smiled widely and gave an intro in front of the crowd.

"Hello, I am Park Lien and I will be performing my second album's song called 'After All' which is dedicated to the person that helped me through the hardships that I faced before, thank you."

I bowed and stood there waiting for the music to start

.

.

.

But nothing happened. Is there a technical problem? I wondered and so did the others. They were also waiting for the music.......

As I was about to apologize to the audience on behalf.......

Suddenly Youngjae walked onto the stage holding something behind him. WAIT WHAT IS HE DOING HERE NOW?

The audience started screaming and squeling again..

I was standing there, oblivious of what is happening. Youngjae walked and stopped infront of me, holding up his microphone.

"Park Lien, I have something to ask you." Youngjae spoke into the mic with a sweet and shy tone, which made the audience react crazier and louder.

I couldnt respond because I was still caught off guard. All I did was stare at Youngjae and hoping that he would finish what he was planning to do. He stood so close to me, I felt my cheeks burning up.

"Park Lien, the girl who always made me smile and the girl who I met during gym class, carrying you around for more than enough times and the laughter we shared, would................ you be mine?" Youngjae said, leaving my heart beating faster and faster until the point that I couldnt feel my legs.

"Awwwwwwww SAY YES SAY YES SAY YES!" The audience went wild, begging me to accept him. To be really honest, I had always liked Youngjae, but didnt really want to confess since he looked like he only wanted to be just best friends.

"Y-yes." I FINALLY replied and he held out a bouquet of red roses in front me. OMG HE IS THE SWEETEST. I accepted them and I hugged him.... infront of the WHOLE audience in Music Bank today, and since this show is broadcasted throughout the globe, this confession is officially watched by everyone.

The audience supported us and cheered us on.

"I'll be backstage, waiting for you." He whispered to me without using is microphone and bowed towards the audience. His face was filled with mixed emotions, mostly happy. I could tell that he is very elated now, and so am I.

I didnt notice I smiled so much until my music started. I got into my position, holding the flowers at the same time and started singing...

Tears of joy made its way down my blushing cheek.

I performed with my heart and soul, feeling absolutely like the luckiest girl in the world.

It turned out that, life isnt just about expensive cars, houses and helpers. It is about the friends you make and the people who encourage you, through ups and downs. As well as working hard to achieve what you want. Hard work and determination is what brought me here today.

YOO YOUNGJAE IS OFFICIALLY

MINE

NOW.
