My little story

LEE MIN YI'S POV

       Yongguk is taking me somewhere, I want to know where we are going but he is keeping is mouth shut. My heart was beating fast to have someone like him drive me...I mean, my boyfriend. We seem to be going out of the city! I've never really explored anything away from the city, but i'd love to know.

             "We're here!" Yongguk announced, I took off my headphone and asked once again, but he didnt want to tell me. All I see is a plain grassland in front of me with no sign of lives except for us.

I am really happy to have Yongguk alone with me, my heart couldn't stop pounding on my chest. Where are we exactly...

           "Yongguk.... are y-you going to kidnap me?" I asked jokingly.

             "Yes, I am." He answered. My eyes widened and I took a step back.

              "HAHA! I was just joking, you're so cute." He said and pinched my cheeks. I giggled and playfully messed up his hair. He is much more taller than me so I sort of have to tip toe just to have his hair get messy.

My heart skipped a beat when he suddenly held my hand gently and guided me to walk with him along the pathways of the grassland. I wanted to ask what we will be doing but I felt like I didn't need to ask any questions. Just like this, i'm already satisfied. I smiled to myself while taking in the clean atmosphere.

             "You see that little cottage there?" He asked, while pointing at a figure.

              "Yeap, who's cottage is that?" I asked, bewildered.

              "Mine." He answered. Is that really his? I never knew someone even owns a cottage these days, i've only read it in books.

He brought me into the cottage and all I can say is... wow. My jaw dropped at the sight. This place felt so cozy and warm. Furnished with a whit sofa, a brown coffee table, a vintage tv, a side lamp and a mini kitchen that goes with it.

            "Wow." I managed.

            "You like it?" He asked and chuckled.

I nodded and jumped onto the sofa, Yongguk laughed at the playful side of me. Just then, he sat beside me and placed his hand on mine. I looked up at him. His eyes were fixed on mine, studying what I was thinking. His face suddenly came closer, and closer.

           "U-ug Yongguk." I said, cutting off this awkward tension. He didnt respond, his face was inching closer, I have no idea why I suddenly closed my eyelids, like I was waiting for a kiss. After that, I heard a chuckle coming from him. I opened my eyes and furrowed my eyebrows, and he kissed my forehead.

            "Seems like you were expecting something ey?" He asked. HOW DARE HE TEASE ME LIKE THAT?!?!?

            "YAH! Don't ever do that again." I said and pouted.

             "Okay okay! haha."

BANG YONGGUK'S POV

Hours has passed, we were teasing each other, laughing and talking, and enjoying each other's company. The more I spent time with her, the more I fell for her.

          "Haha! Remember that time I wanted to go to the toilet and you ran for it first?" She said in between laughs.

  

          "Yeah! and you fainted because you were dehydrated! You almost scared me to death, I thought I had to take responsibility if you dont wake up." I continued our story. We stopped laughing after a while..

            "Such a coincidence that both of us met in so many different occasions right?" I said. She smiled and nodded.

            "Do you come here alone all the time Yongguk?" She asked. I took in her question decided to tell her.

              "Actually, you're the first person who knows about this hideout of mine." I said.

                "Really?" She asked in a surprised tone.

                "3 years ago, my family was in a bad situation, my parents were fighting over some business problems, they'd fight every night, plates and cups would be thrown and shatter onto the marble floors. I couldn't take it anymore, so I went out to search for a decent place, somewhere peaceful. So then I found this place, and made it my own, and hoped that no one will ever find this place out." I explained briefly and sighed.

Just then, a pair of hands were placed on my shoulders.

               "T-thank you, for sharing." She said in a quiet voice.

                "No, thank you Min Yi, for making my life a happier one." I said and smiled.
