*Wakie wakie! Wakie wakie!*

I heard my new alarm wake me up as I groaned, and tried to shut it off. Once I yawned and stretched, I put on my knee brace and got out of bed. As I stood from my bed, the aroma of food filled my room. That smells amazing, I thought to myself. I decided to get into my uniform and head to the kitchen to eat breakfast. "Good morning, darling daughter," I received a very formal greeting from dad. "Good morning to you too, kind father," I replied with a giggle, "and to you as well dear mother." "Good morning, (f/n). Can you get a plate so I can serve you the food I made," my mother asked. I did as she requested, and I received French toast and two eggs (See what I did there?). As I placed my plate on the table, dad placed some strawberries on my plate and poured me a glass of orange juice. "So where's Taru? Isn't he going to eat too," I asked. "He is getting ready for school. He should be done any moment now," mom reassured me.

"Good morning everyone," a weary voice said. "Morning," my parents and I replied in unison. "Well, I'm gunna leave now. I'm going to try and get to school earlier. I don't wanna rush to class," I stated. Dad kissed my head as he picked up my plate for me. Mom and Taru gave me a quick hug, "I'm off," I shouted as I got my book bag from the living room. Once I got outside, I remembered I had an MP3 player in my bag and plugged my new (f/c) ear buds. "Ane! Ane!" My brother ran up to me. I turned around and took one of the buds out of my ear. "Ane, you almost forgot your lunch," Taru huffed. "Oops! Thanks Otōto," I sweat dropped as I patted his head as a motion of thanks. He smiled and ran the half block to get back home. Well, let's hope nothing else goes wrong, I thought to myself reaching the bus stop.

~~~~~~~~Time Skip to School~~~~~~~~
When I arrived to school, I had half an hour to get my supplies and get to class. "(L/n)! Good morning," a familiar voice caught my attention. I turned to my orange-haired friend walking his bike to the rack that was next to me. "Good morning Hinata. Ready for class," I asked the short male as I put my ear buds away. "Eh... I guess. At least we can walk with each other to class," he said. Just then a taller boy came up to Hinata, "Oi, Hinata. Are you going to practice with me today," he asked. "KAGEYAMA! Don't interrupt our conversation," Hinata yelled at the black-haired boy. "Uh? Oh, gomen'nasai," he bowed as he apologized. "It's fine. I'm (l/n) (f/n), and you are," I questioned. "Kageyama Tobio," he said with a straight face, "nice to meet you." "Nice to meet you too," I replied with a smile. "He's in our class too, (l/n)," Hinata said. "Oh, really," I questioned a bit shocked, "I didn't notice. I'm sorry." "Huh? Oh no, don't worry. Its fine," Kageyama reassured me. After Hinata locked his bike on the rack, the three of us walked to class.
~~~~~~~~Time Skip to Lunch~~~~~~~~

"You remembered your lunch this time, right (l/n)," Hinata asked. "Yes, I have it this time, and milk, but it's just regular," I made an appalled look at the box. "I'll trade with you if you want, (l/n)," the blue-eyed male offered, "It's chocolate." I looked at him with widened eyes. "But, are you sure," I asked. "I don't mind, I like regular milk as well as chocolate," he said with a faint smile. "Arigato Kageyama," I said with a big smile. "Wow, I've never seen Kageyama so nice to someone before. He usually yells or doesn't talk at all," Hinata chuckled. "Shut up, shrimpy," Kageyama yelled, "it's called courtesy! You show it to people you hope to be friends with, idiot." "Well how come I don't get courtesy from you bakageyama," Hinata snapped back. As they began to bicker, I was in shock. Did he just say, he wants to be my... friend? I asked myself. When I came to, I saw people looking at them as they were fighting. "Guys! Hey," I yelled at the two, "people are looking at us. Stop fighting," I pleaded with a worried face. They looked at me with apologetic faces as they let go of each other's shirts.

They apologized and gave each other a death stare. "Guys, come on. I want us all to be friends," I said. They look at me with baffled faces, "You wanna be friends with this guy," they asked in unison while pointing at each other. "Yes! I bet you mean well to each other as well, but you never really show it, huh," I giggled in response. They looked away with their hands on the back of their heads for a moment. "Sorry, Kageyama," the orange-haired boy spoke with a sincere tone. "Hinata. I'm s-sore, tsar, sorry..." he forced out. I giggled, "See? Was that hard?" They looked away and nodded their heads. "Wha-? Come on guys. Let's forget about this and move forward," I say as kindly as possible. They looked at me and nodded with determined faces. I gave them a smile with two thumbs up the same time with the sound of the bell, signaling the end of lunch.
