*Beep beep! Beep beep!*

I woke up and began to groan, "That alarm is getting so annoying." I opened my eyes and began to smile. I slept with both Barry and Juraki in my arms and had a good slumber. I propped myself on my elbow as I used my other hand to rub my eyes and yawn. I rolled out of bed and dismissed my alarm before getting dressed and putting the co-manager uniform in my book bag. I plugged my ear buds in my MP3 and placed my phone in my blazer pocket before grabbing my bag and heading downstairs.

I placed my book bag on the couch and pour myself cereal on the table. I had a couple spoonfuls of cereal before I felt a tap on my shoulder. I unplugged an ear bud from my head and turned to find no one there. I shrugged it off and turned my attention back to my cereal. As I turned around, someone pecked my cheek, "*kiss* Mornin' kiddo," a voice chuckled. I smiled and hugged him, "Dad! Morning," I started, "how was work? What was the emergency this time," I asked. He sighed, "Well, my design for a building in Tokyo didn't have enough people working on it. Since I'm the guy that designed it, they thought I should help build it so the design is spot on." I nodded, "Oh... that explains it. At least you got paid more than usual for the extra time, right," I asked. He nodded, "Yeah, but I needed to stay close by the work site because I was on call, and I wanted to be able to get there quickly," he explained.

I nodded and continued to eat my cereal as dad looked in the fridge, "So I made your lunch when I got home. Its rice, veggies, and chicken," he smiled handing me the box. I took the box as I finished my cereal, "Thanks dad." "Good morning," Taru practically yelled, "we missed you dad." Dad patted Taru's head and handed him his lunch, "Missed you too kiddo." I washed my dish, "Hey dad," I started, "Friday night, the volleyball team is going to volleyball camp and I get to go." He smiled, "You guys going out of town," he asked. I nodded, "Coach Ukai and the other girl manager is going. Even Takeda-sensei is going so there will be adults to supervise us." He smiled, "Yes, you can go," he said placing a hand on my head. "Yatta! Oh, I gotta go," I said looking at the microwave's clock, "I'm going to be late!"

I plugged my ear bud back in as I grabbed my book bag and lunch, "See you guys later," I said rushing out the door and heading towards the school. I was jogging down the sidewalk, making my way to the school. As I approached Tsukki's neighborhood, a familiar figure came into view, "Yamaguchi! Good morning," I called out unplugging my ear buds. He looked up, "(l/n), morning. How was your weekend," he asked with a gentle smile. I put a hand on my cheek as the memories of the weekend with Tsukki came into mind, "It was bliss," I sighed, "how about yours Yamaguchi?" He rolled his eyes, "Boring. I had to help clean the house yesterday. I didn't get to go out at all after Saturday." I giggled as I patted his arm, "There there. At least you don't have to clean your house anymore." He smiled and nodded, "Yup, and this weekend we get to go to camp. That will be fun... I think," he put a hand on the back of his head and smiled with his eyes closed.

Just then, Tsukki walked out of his house, "Morning Tsukki," Yamaguchi called out. Tsukki lifted his hand and nodded his head as a greeting to both Yamaguchi and me. Before he reached us, he put on his headphones and walked ahead of us. "Does he always do this," I asked Yamaguchi. He smiled, "Yeah, he listens to music to calm him down and let his mind wonder at times. Ya know?" I nodded, "I get it. Oh, ready for our test results? We get them back today," I calmly stated. He gulped before answering, "U-umm, I think so. I did fine on the other tests, I got an 80 on the biology test and 76 on the chemistry test." "That's great Yamaguchi! I hope you get good grades on Friday's tests as well," I said as we entered the school.
