*Beep beep! Beep beep!*

Oh no... It's time to wake up. I quickly tucked my head under my pillow and tried to block the annoying beeping from reaching my ears. The sound stopped and I knew Kageyama was already up and at 'em. "Hey, (l/n). Wake up," Kageyama's voice reached my ears as he shook me vigorously. "Ka-ge-ya-ma," I yelled as he shook me, "I'm up. I'm up!" He wore a smirk, "I know, I just wanted to get you out of bed." I furrowed my brows and hit him with my pillow, "Do it politely next time!" He laughed and took the pillow from me, "Gomen, but hurry we need to get ready." He put the pillow down and got his school uniform and warm up clothes ready and I got my school uniform and black tights.

I went to change in the downstairs bathroom this time and got ready as fast as I could. It only took me five minutes to change and I quickly brushed my hair and then went back upstairs to brush my teeth. "Kageyama, I left my phone in my room. Are you done changing," I asked. "Yeah, you can come in," he quickly replied. I opened the door and he got my phone from the desk, "Here catch." I caught my phone in one swift motion, "Ouch!" He stopped scrambling about and looked at me, "Are you ok? I didn't hit you, did I?"

I shook my head, "No, I think I didn't stretch out well after practice yesterday." He opened his book bag and pulled out a bottle, "Here, get a cup of water and put four tablespoons of this powder in, stir it, and then drink it." "What is this," I asked grabbing the container. "It's like a protein drink. It will alleviate the muscle pain within an hour," he explained. I went to the kitchen and found Taru making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, "Good morning (f/n)-nee. I made breakfast for you and Kageyama-san. Dad is in the backyard cleaning for this weekend." I quickly made the protein drink as I looked outside and waved at dad with a smile.

I took a sip of the drink and Taru laughed at my expression, "Nee-chan, your face looks funny and you're puckering your lips." Kageyama entered the kitchen with all of our stuff and began to laugh at me as well, "I forgot to tell you, the drink is pretty tangy." I quickly chugged the rest and threw the container he gave me earlier at him, "Thanks for the heads up." The three of us quickly ate our peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and then Kageyama and I headed off for school. As we were walking to school I began to go into deep thought. So we will need a cake, balloons, and a banner. How am I going to get it all in time? I can get it after school... wait, practice, "Oh shit." "What," Kageyama asked without slowing down. "The party supplies. I don't have time to get them and the party is in two days. I'll just ask my dad," I sighed at myself.

"Why didn't you just ask him in the first place," he asked as if it were obvious. I sighed, "Cuz it was my idea to have the party and I should have gotten everything for Taru." He widened his eyes a little and apologized awkwardly, "Oh... Sorry." I giggled and shook my hand in the air, "No worries, you didn't know." I texted dad to pick up party supplies and my money was in my wallet on my desk, 'Alright, I'll get the decorations after work today.' 'Thanks dad. See you later.' Kageyama and I entered the school and went straight to the gym to set up before he went to change. "Hey! Good morning guys," Hinata yelled as he entered the gym in his workout clothes. I waved at him as he approached, "Ohayō Hinata."

I let the freak duo set up the net as I rolled out the baskets of volleyballs. I tried to reach up for the water bottles and towels on the second shelf, "Ouch. Kageyama," I called out, "Can you reach for the water bottles and towels please?" I pointed at the objects mentioned and my arm flinched in pain. "Sure shorty," he teased getting the items I requested and walking towards the bench. I felt rage bubble in me, and began to yell, "I don't like it when people talk about my height like that! You better not do that again!" Hinata jumped as my voice boomed through the gymnasium and Kageyama eyes widened. "Kageyama, what did you do," Hinata said as calmly as possible. The taller boy grabbed him by his shirt's collar, "It's always my fault isn't it? You're not perfect either!" I ran up to them and tried to pry Kageyama from Hinata, "Hey! He didn't do anything! Leave him alone Kageyama!"
