I woke up, still in last night's outfit. I drove home last night after everyone was drunk and wanting to play games that I was not interested in at all. To add, Porter texted me around 11 he wanted to meet with me today. I got out of bed and undressed, changing into a more casual day to day look. I went to my bathroom and brushed my teeth for an extended period of time. I decided to get back on track with hygiene.
I grabbed my keys and phone and made my way back out to my car. It wasn't long until I saw Porter sitting out on his porch, rocking in a chair. He stood up and waved when he saw me pull into his driveway.
I sat down on his porch next to where he was standing. He sat back down. "How was the party last night?" He asked. "It was okay, I guess." I sighed. We sat in silence after that just watching the trees blow in the little bit of wind. It was warm outside, much like the day I first met Haley.
"So you need to hear me out here," Porter began. I looked at him. "You didn't bring in another dying bird did you?" I chuckled. "No, Anton this I so much more serious. I don't really know how to tell you, so I guess I'm just going to have to come out and say it." I raised an eyebrow. "I'm in love with Haley."
