POV: Lillian
I smiled confidently after she had disappeared. I turned to Daniel who stood frozen in shock.
"Li-lily.. Wha-what was th-that" he stuttered.
"Daniel, let me explain."
"You're a witch.." He said eyes widening, realization dawning on him.
"N-no I'm not Daniel, just let me explain."
He started sprinting out the way we came and the green rope shot out of my palm at blinding speed, wrapping around him tightly. He struggled against it and eventually gave up.
"Daniel, please listen!" I begged. My only friend was slipping away, quickly.
"You're a witch." He whispered, again, still awestruck.
"I'm not a witch!!!!" I roared. My vision had turned red. Anger filled every vein.I am not a witch.
I am not evil.
I am not crazy.Anger had taken over, each movement fueled by rage. With my free hand I concentrated all rage into a beam of boiling energy, directed toward Daniel.
I heard him scream.
All anger left me and I realized what I had done.
-----------------------
I ran to Daniel and fell to my knees beside him. His eyes blankly stared at the canopy of the forest. I gingerly brushed my fingers on his eyelids, closing them.
He looked so peaceful, almost like he was asleep.
Aside from the burned hole where his heart should be.
I ran my fingers through his hair and sobbed. My sister made me this way, I reminded myself, she will pay.
