{Chapter 12: Mr. Snuggles The Bunny}
"Happy birthday, Peaches!" Rose yelled climbing into Riley's bedroom window with a stuffed bunny in hand, as Riley was gonna climb out to the window she was coming into. "What's happening?" The girl asks the blonde since the brunette seemed upset.
"My mom forgot my birthday" Maya said as if it were nothing. "What?!" The latina yelled.
"What's the rabbit for?" Maya said hopping to get off the topic. "Oh no peaches, do not get off the topic, but if you must know this is your birthday present from me, his name is Mr. Snuggles and if there is ever a time where Riley and I can't talk you have him" Rose says upset then happily giving Maya the stuffed bunny.

"Mr. Snuggles?" The blonde questions, making the Latina nod quickly smiling. "I love it" Maya says smiling at the bunny.
"Maya, why do you tell me these things if you don't expect me to fix them?" Riley asks. "When you 14 you'll understand" Maya says nonchalant.
"No, I agree how could your mother forget your birthday?" Rose says sadly. "I've stopped trying to figure it out. She was already gone when I woke up this morning. She probably just took an early shift at the diner"Maya says shrugging as if she didn't care.
