I walk up to coaches office and see him packing up about to head out to the field.
'Hey! Coach, um by any chance could I try out for the lacrosse team?' I ask stopping him from going out the door,
'Yeah I guess, it doesn't mean you'll get in! Get geared up.' Coach was chuckling to himself walking out the door.

I rush to the girls change room to change into the spare gear that coach had in the office- no one had claimed it so I was just borrowing it until I get my own. I was given a loose jersey with a helmet, the helmet just covering my blonde hair. As I jogged out onto the field I could see that everyone else was already on the field warming up, when I reached them Coach blew his whistled.
'Lets do some running, 6 laps!' He yelled at us.
I instantly took off leading the group but when I looked behind me I was way ahead of everyone else. I've gone too fast! I need to slow down.

Blend in Kara!
I mentally tell myself. I slowly jog until the rest catch up staying to the side of the group of tired, sweaty, running boys. When we had finished the laps as a group I saw Stiles bending over catching his breath and I instantly felt sorry for him but he looked so funny so I ignored it.

'Okay line up! Let's do some shooting!' Yelled coach, everyone scrambling to the goals, one of the freshmen were first and they couldn't absolutely for the love of them get the ball anywhere near the goal. I saw Scott with the stick in his hand getting his positioning, but he totally missed I felt bad for him because he 'was' the captain last season and now he was embarrassing himself in front of everyone making them think they would have no problem being captain this year.

It was my turn up next when I got the ball I quickly whip my stick making the ball fly right into the net, everyone just had to stare didn't they! I was walking to the back of the line when the boy that was behind me executed a perfect stance, throw, EVERYTHING! Wow how could a normal human being do that!

'Yes Liam!' Someone shouted, the boy looking their way acknowledging them with a slight nod of his head and a sly smirk.
So his name is Liam, coach was smiling proudly at him. I already knew that he would get a spot on the team.

The next drill we had to do was attack and defense. Someone was goalie trying to stop the ball from going into the goal and someone was attacking. Scott volunteered to defend first, I figured he was trying to tell everyone not to mess with him. After a few misses I could see Stiles getting stressed, he walked up to Scott and whispered something in his ear,
'Maybe use a little, because your getting killed man!' I heard Stiles say as I listened in with my enhanced hearing.

Use a little? Use a little of what? A drug or something, maybe.

It was Liam's turn to attack and as he started towards the goal Scott started running towards him as well, what was he doing!? I quickly found out as I heard the sickening crunch of bones breaking, Liam was down on the ground  with his leg bent in an angle that was not normal. I quickly scanned him with my x-Ray vision, he had a broken leg nothing major but that would stop him from playing lacrosse for at least half the season.

What was Scott thinking! Why would he injure someone just because he thought they would take his spot on the team, I don't know Scott that well but guessing from what stiles sees in him, he is normally a good guy.

'I'll take him to the hospital, coach!' Yelled Scott picking Liam up bridal style before running off the field and towards the Beacon Hills Medical Center.
'Get your asses back on the field!' Yelled coach shooing us into the middle of the game field getting us into teams for a game just playing against our team mates. As we continued to play Scott came back from the hospital, just joined in and nobody asked any questions.

Something is off.

I have to find out what though.

I spend the rest of try outs watching Scott, looking for anything abnormal but he didn't do anything out of place. He followed all of coaches instructions and even Stiles didn't have any smart comments. I looked over to the bench to see a girl with short dark blonde hair and stunning eyes waving at Stiles. Next to her was another girl this one looked like she was from an Asian background, with dead straight black hair, dark eyes and very excessive clothing. She was wearing black fishnet stockings, a leather skirts with a really sparkly belt and an off the shoulder top that hung too loosely. She was smiling at Scott.

Boyfriend and girlfriend, maybe?

As soon as the tryouts were done all the boys were taking there helmets and jerseys off, but most off their eyes were locked on me including Stiles and Scott.
They all wanted to know who the mystery player was, this is going to be fun.

I pulled off my helmet letting my long hair free and taking off my jersey to reveal the tight compression top I was wearing underneath. I walked to the change room entrance smiling to my self when I saw the boys slack jawed out of my peripheral vision.

'That's Kara! What is she doing trying out for the lacrosse team?' Stiles whispered to Scott.
'Somethings off about her' Scott replied.

How would he know? He couldn't possibly. I'm just over reacting, I must be! I walk into the change rooms to find no one else there.

No surprise because I'm the only girl trying out for the team!

'We have to find out what she is before she kills someone' I heard a voice coming towards the change room, it was Scott but there was another heartbeat, I didn't recognize it though. As the heartbeats got closer I started to back up against the gym lockers, but then one stopped it was only about 25 meters away, the other kept coming closer towards my place standing against the cool surface of the gym lockers.

I saw something then very unexpected. A pair of bright glowing blue orbs in the place of eyes, but they weren't there long enough for me to determine if I was seeing things or not.
'Who are you?' The person asks.
'Who-who's asking?' I stammered barely managing to hide the fear in my voice.

The person then steps out of the shadows and into the bright white light of the locker rooms, shadows still covering half of their face. It was a girl, a girl around the same age as me but I hadn't seen her in any of my classes so far.
She talked again this time with less patience and more anger.

'Just answer my question!'

(I'm just going to point out that I don't know the rules of lacrosse I only know what I've seen on tv so if I'm getting anything wrong plz leave a comment!)
