Time skip till there 4
The twins were starting to squirt us with water in the bath tub, so we decided to check to see if there powers were any stronger.
"Lily, Liam, come down stairs!" I yelled
"Yes ma'am!" They yelled back
There very competitive at this age, even though they're so young..
They decided to race down the stairs. Of course Lily being herself she jumped 11 stairs down..
"Ha! I won Liam!" Lily said
"Only cause you jumped!" Liam replied
"No, cause I'm better!" Lily fought
"No!" Liam yelled
"Stop it, you guys are both amazing! Now, I get it that you guys like to fight, but we are not going to do that this morning! We're practicing your powers! " I said
"Where is father?" Lily asked
"At work sweetheart." I said
Lily's POV
"Oh, ok" I said then turned towards Liam "let's make a bet. I bet you that I'll be able to lift more water than you. If I do, you owe me 15 gold drachmas, if not, I owe you 15 good drachmas, deal, or no deal?" I said
"Deal." Liam replied
"Well, we don't have to practice your vocabulary and such, because you guys are already very very smart!" Mother said.
"Thanks, I guess." Liam and I said
"Now, try to fill up this 32oz measuring cup, from here, 25 feet away from the sink. I'll go turn it on, and I want to see if you guys can direct the water to the cup." Mother said turning the water on.
"Here are the cups" she said giving us our cups.
At first Liam got it 10 feet away from the glass, and then I got 1 cup into the glass. Then, Liam got 3 cups into the glass and I got myself in the face. Next, I got 4 cups in, and Liam got 8... Finally, we had to put the water back, which is what the bet was for. I raised all 4 cups and put it back in the sink, while Liam spilled it on the floor.
"15 gold drachmas! Pay up!" I told Liam
"Fine." He said handing me over the drachmas.
"I have to clean this mess up." Mother said realizing we didn't have anymore paper towels left. "Actually, we are going to the market!" She said.
At the market
Annabeth POV
"Oh, come on! There is no paper towels in any of the 4 markets! Come on Lily, Liam, looks like we are going out of New Rome." I said
At a market 2 miles from New Rome
"Thank you, paper towels!" I said stocking up on them
After I checked out, I heard a rumble, and then a roar, I realized it was a monster, so I ran to the alleyway with Lily and Liam behind me. I pulled out my dagger I Carried everywhere and I fought pretty well, as well as protecting my children. Then i brought in the final kill, but just as I did so, the monster got Lily's head. So I pulverized him and ran over to Lily as she passed out.
