Chapter 9:

LILYS POV
I was on Liam's bed, it had now been about a year since my brothers Passover and its just not the same. I'm not as strong, or tough, or myself anymore... I think about him all the time and it just wasn't fair. My parents brought the food to my room, I haven't left Liam's bed since. My parents bring everything to me. He was my twin and I missed him dearly. My parents were 24 when they had my brother and I, I was now 14 so they were 37/ about to be 38. That's when I finally decided that you know, we have our extra bedroom, I have been wanting to paint. So I asked my parents to buy me some spray paint and I was able to express my emotions in art. They were happy I finally came out of my room and that night as we were having dinner, they said they had some important news to tell me.
"Lily, honey, we have something to tell you." My dad said
"What is it?" I asked
"Well," my dad stopped
"I'm pregnant" my mom finished
My eyes got wide and my mouth hung open.
"What" I said a bit angry/confused/sad
"Do you know the gender?" I asked
"Male" Dad said
"But, why?" I asked
"Well, because we thought it would be nice" my mother said
"Well, ok.." I answered.
"Would you like to go fight some monsters?" My dad asked getting out of his chair and helping my mom up, when I noticed a decent sized bump.
"Sure" I replied flicking my wrist for the rings to turn into swords.
"Let's go!" My dad said running out the door as I easily caught up, then we just wanted to fight, like a hellhound, but there was a manticore...
1 hour later after fighting super intense.
I swiped the manticore once more, but as he dodged he threw a poisonous are own and it hit me in the rib, as he was running away and my dad wasn't looking, he swiped across from my rib all the way up to under my eye, when I fainted and my dad turned around after finishing off the manticore.
Percy POV
I turned around and saw my daughter on the ground.
"Lily!!" I screamed racing to pick her up and off to the house as I screamed for Annabeth to call 911!
"Annabeth!! Annabeth!! Call 911!! It's Lily!! She's hurt!! Annabeth!! Call 911!! I screamed running into the house, 2 minutes later doctors rushing in a gurney and taking Lily and putting her in the ambulance. They realized Annabeth was pregnant and couldn't run fast, so they put her on a gurney as well and we were off to the hospital.
At the hospital
After we arrived, they put Annabeth and Lily in the same room and immediately took Lily over to a doctor to be checked on. She had a HUGE gash going from under her eyes down to her ribs, as well as that she was unconscious. The doctor saw the gash and told the nurses to take her to an X-Ray, after about 20 minutes the doctor took her into surgery after telling me they had to stitch her up.
"Mr. Jackson, your daughter has a severe infection and well as you can tell the gash, but it goes into her 2nd layer of skin, she will definitely have a scar, and she has to get 137 stitches." The doctor said.
"Woah." I said
"Yeah, but we can most likely get her all fixed up by the day after tomorrow. We will take her into surgery now, and she will need a little bit of recovery here in the hospital, we need to put her into surgery now." The doctor said
"Alright. Bye Lily." I whispered to her.
1 week after the surgery
ANNABETHS POV
"MOMMY!! DADDY!!" I heard Lily yell in pain
