Waiting to see what the outcome of tonight's episode will be, I sat at home debating on beating the mother and her daughter's ass. It was bad enough to awaken to the sounds of a crying baby; especially when I have not slept properly in two weeks; everything was a fight: a fight to work, laugh, eat, exercise, and to relax. I gained my composure and thought about those startling words that were spoken from my son's lips. I knew from there that I would have to take action. The fight had begun a long time ago; however, trying to be the responsible, reasonable, level-headed mother; I backed away allowing him to wallow in his regrets of being with a foolish woman.
Sean began to tell how the situation started and I must say that it is quite silly. Wendy knows that my son puts the baby down every night, and afterwards he heads home. Well on this night like all other nights his phone buzzed a new text. Wendy paltry and lack of forethought proved her to be a simple woman. Checking his phone text messages and calls she hoped to find something to argue about. When she did not find anything; she found another way to bring about trouble. Wendy is an unwise and silly individual who knows how to tear down a home, but she cannot build one because she does not know how. I am not sure if she's been taught how to love, but I know she was never raised by her mother. Even though, Kay lived in the same town as her children, it was Kay's mother who raised them. The only thing I found that is truthful about Wendy and her family is that they are pathological liars. I have countless times her sister Zaj lied about things and they were all rumors that Wendy started. The interesting part about the rumors is Zaj did not know I was the original ear that heard the situation when it had gone down before it became a rumor. I kept hidden cameras in my house which is something she didn't know. I guess the fruit didn't fall that far from the tree with the other bad apples that sit underneath rotting away.
Getting out of the bed, I checked the time and put on some sweat pants. Taking the baby to calm him, I rocked him gently against my chest. The prolong wailing from the baby echoed sleep and hunger. I went to the stand where I kept the baby items and I noticed that I did not have any formula. That was when it hit me; I gave her the can that was in my home because she did not have any. The deep sigh escaped my mouth before I could pull it back in. I had to get the baby some formula and fast to ease his tension. Handing the baby back to my son, I decided to go to the mother and talk with her. I was hoping to offer several choices that could work out in both of their favor.
My mother senses began to tingle before I got into my vehicle. It seized me within and if I did not do something soon, the cops would be knocking at my door. Surly those feelings warrant the humble side of me and I went into flight mode to see her. My instincts were on point. As I drove down the road on her street, a bald top cruiser sped past me.
"Shit, I knew it" those were the thoughts that went through my head.
I wanted to contact my son but for the time being I had other matters to attend to. Pulling up in front of the house, I parked on the sidewalk and exited my vehicle. For this to be a squabble between the parents of my grandchild, there sure were a lot of people outside interfering. My eyes quickly searched the crowd to find Wendy.
"Wendy..." I shouted out and waved at her to come over to me.
Before she got within talking range without yelling, I spoke to her uncle Alvin. Shaking his hand and greeting him, the respect was shown but not to be misunderstood about what was going down.
"Jamilah, I know what I said before to you concerning your son, but I am done talking" Alvin said.
"Well let's not get it twisted, the love and war battle is between the parents, but know that the friendly fire between us has begun" I expressed.
