Ps: This one shot is kind of a second part to "Stargazing". There's no reference whatsoever, but it could be interpreted as the continuation.

The day couldn't be calmer. A sweet silence drowned the surroundings of the living room, where you sat quietly with your favorite book in hands. Everything was peaceful, harmonious, far away from the constant energy of daily life. Both of your parents were out for the day, visiting a somewhat close relative while you chose to stay home. Definitely, this was a great day.
Winter was comfortably installed outside, and snow was constantly pouring of the sky. You could notice that fact from your spot, where looking through the windows was easy. Everything seemed white and pure, again adding to the impression of serenity the ambiance gave you. Although at this rate, the snow could easily block the entries to the house, thus locking you in.
Nevertheless curious, you stood off the couch and walked to the window, where you stared at the outside landscape more significantly this time. The sky was entirely blank, as well as the grounds, and the air was filled with enormous snowflakes that really could incapacitate the neighborhood if it kept falling. But it didn't seem much like a plausible scenario, so you shrugged it off and took the direction of the couch once again.
As your hand dropped onto the furniture, the sweet lullaby of the house bell rang, filling the silence with its notes. You frowned in confusion: you parents weren't supposed to be home before nighttime. Besides, they owned the keys to their own house, meaning they could enter in with no problem. Who could be ringing the door then?
Being the superstitious person you were, you ran off to grab the baseball bat from the basement, and approached the door carefully, brandishing your homemade weapon over your head. Without a sound, you leaned your hand onto the doorknob and, softly, turned it with a slow movement of the wrist. You opened the entrance by a few centimeters, and peaked trough the crack subtly.
Only to find your boyfriend Peter standing on the porch, with his signature metallic coat and a heartwarming smile on his face.
"Look who's there!" he exclaimed as he acknowledged your presence. "C'mon, open up already, I'm freezing."
Sighing in relief, you pulled the door to let Peter in. He was shivering a bit, making you wonder how long he had been standing in the piercing cold.
"No wonder you're freezing, look at what you're wearing." you scoffed lightly, a smirk on your lips. "I told you to buy a real winter coat for once."
"Hey, I have a style to keep."You exhaled deeply, but closed the entrance before throwing yourself in your boyfriend's arms with a genuine smile.
"What are you even doing here?" you asked, as you felt his arms press around your body in response to the hug. "I didn't expect to see you under such weather."
"You know I'd brave much worse to see you."
"You and your cheesy lines. Why don't you just kiss me already?"
