"Move." barked the guard from behind, abruptly pushing your back forward.

You exhaled sharply, but didn't replicate. What would the point be in this situation anyway?

Following the indications, you tiredly walked in the corridors of the fortress while keeping an eye on the area. This place was so big that you were sure even their residents were getting lost in it. But your eyes didn't have the time to snoop around that you were being pushed by the two guards behind, not counting the tenth others who walked by your side with a pissed off expression.

"Could you guys chill for a second here?" you nagged with a smirk, in direction of the stuck-up asshole that kept hitting your back. "Get your heads out of your asses already."
"Shut up." grumbled a guy to your left. "You're in no condition to complain."

Without adding a word, you scoffed mockingly and continued your not-so-peaceful walk towards a destination you kind of already knew about.

In jail. Was it so difficult to admit? For you, the mighty assassin (Y/n), known throughout the entirety of the nine realms, to accept the fact that you got caught by the Asgardian militia after all those years? Yes, it was, and it profoundly damaged your pride. You worked so hard for the reputation you earned, only to see everything crumble to pieces before your eyes But sarcasm and smartass comments was your way to hide the deep feeling of disappointment you felt inside.

A door finally opened towards a large corridor leading to countless windows, all of them representing cell. You were curious to see glass instead of iron bars, but didn't complain: it looked much more clean than some places you'd seen before. Without waiting, the guards opened one of the empty cells and threw you in, making your face land right on the ground. You groaned loudly, struggling to sit up.

"Thanks guys, really appreciated." you muttered, painfully laying your hand on your forehead.

None of them answered. They just all gazed at you in disgust, before turning around to leave the room in hurry.

"Come back, assholes!" you yelled, quickly standing up. "I'm not done with you yet!"

You hurried forward, only to percuss the glass that was apparently closed now. Your fists slammed onto the forcefield repeatedly, although it didn't seemed effective whatsoever.

"I swear, I'm going to kill you all!" you continued, screaming at nobody in particular.
"Sweetheart, I suggest you don't make promises you won't keep." nagged an unknown voice on your left.

You turned your head around within the time of a blink, only to face the guy in the cell next to yours. He had long raven hair over his shoulders, deep emerald eyes, and brung back to your mind a weird impression of déjà vu. His legs crossed, he laid his back against the farthest wall of his room, looking in your direction with a smooth grin.
