Chapter 15 - Kinikilig Ako

We started walking once the grain stopped.

Kinakabahan pa rin ako sa thought na sa bahay ni Jordan ako matutulog. I'm thankful though na nag-offer siya kasi seriously sobrang praning ko at ayaw ko talagang mag commute basta gabi.

We've been walking for a while until finally meron nang signs of settlement na akong nakita. May mga konting bahay na around at sobrang relieved ako na nandito na. At least I know hindi kami stuck in a place without any people. Chineck ko yung phone ko at meron nang signal yung phone ko. 10 PM na din pala at wala pa naman akong mga text from Penny. Naisip kong bukas ko na siya sasabihan sa mga nangyari, para isang kwentuhan nalang.

We walked for a few more minutes until Jordan speaks up.

"We're here."

Dumating kami sa isang munting apartment na may gate. Pumasok kami at napansin kong maliit lang yung aparment niya kumpara sa akin pero mukhang mamahalin parin siya. You enter and see a living room with a TV and speakers. Meron ding mga instruments sa isang corner. May guitar, piano, bass at drums.

"Wow, may sarili ka talagang band set ah."

"Yeah. The first things I bought with the money I was earning years ago. Sorry din kung medyo maliit lang yung apartment ko."

"No, it's fine."

"Okay."

"Okay."

Nagkaroon ng awkward silence for a while and he looks around.

"Um, is it okay for you to sleep on the couch?"

"Okay lang naman."

He smiles and went to his room. I continue to look around his apartment. Simple lang siyang tingnan. It's home-y and masculine in a way.

Bumalik si Jordan na may dala-dalang unan, kumot at mga damit.

"Make yourself comfortable, babalikan ko lang yung sasakyan ko. There's food in the fridge, and there's a bathroom right over there." He points to another door and I nod.

"I also got out my sister's pajamas. She left them here."

"Okay."

"Do you need anything else?"

"Okay na ako. Punta ka na sobrang gabi na o."

"Yeah I should, I'll see you later."

"See you."

He grabs his stuff and went out the door. Paglabas niya, naglakad-lakad pa ako sa apartment niya just to look around. Maliit lang nga siya dahil ang bilis kong matapos mag-explore. The most interesting things I found was a photo of Jordan and his dad and they were mountain climbing. Meron ding isang litrato nila ng mga kapatid niya. I can tell na kapatid sila dahil magkakamukha sila.

Later on nagdecide akong maligo muna dahil naulanan ako kanina. I grabbed the towel that Jordan had me borrow and got her sisters pajamas.

Thankfully may liquid body wash sa CR ni Jordan. I bet it's her sister's kasi kung sa ex niya feel ko naman itatapon na niya yun. Sino nga ba ex niya?

I stopped thinking about it and started showering. Buti nalang may hot shower siya kaya nasoothe ang katawan kong nastress sa mga nangyari kanina. I probably stayed under the shower as long as I could.

When I was done I dried myself up and started to change. Hinanap ko underwear ko pero di ko mahanap. Baka nahulog ko papuntang CR? Anuba Noreen.

Binalot ko sarili ko sa tuwalya at lumabas ng CR para kunin yung underwear ko. I walked past the kitchen counter and the dining table pero no signs of my underwear.
