I woke up the next morning to my beeping alarm. I turned around and shut it off looking at the time. It was 6:00 am. I actually liked mornings. It was a time I was able to leave my room without running into the devil himself. I always had to get up this early to sneak down and get all the food I needed to survive the day, and I would come back up to my room and not leave until told to do so.

I got up from my bed and walked over to the window. I opened my curtains and opened the window. I loved the smell in the mornings. It was relaxing and full of hope of a new day. The sun was just starting to rise, and you could see the rays of sun starting to poke out for the new day.

I didn't bother putting on different clothes because I never saw anyone this time of day, and the help was usually done preparing by this time. I crept out of my room as quiet as possible and went for the stairs. When I got to the bottom of the stairs I took a right going straight for the kitchen. I went for the pantry to start collecting my food. I grabbed a bag and I started piling food into it. Once the bag was completely full I decided I should go back up.

As I was going to the stairs to make my journey to my room I heard a car pull up outside. No one was ever here this early in the morning. Curious I went over to the window to see who it was. I didn't recognize the car. I new that they were wealthy though because they were driving a Lamborghini Veneno. I saw two men get out of the car.

One was older, my fathers age. The other one was younger, around 18 or 19 I would guess. The older man had a muscular build with brown, short hair with spots of gray poking out. His face looked worn down and tired with wrinkles surrounding him, but his face was showing no emotion. I couldn't see the face of the younger one, and I was waiting for him to turn around. He was about to turn around when I heard footsteps coming down the stairs.

Panicking I ran and jumped behind the couch. I heard the door open, voices talking, and then footsteps leading to the kitchen. I waited until the footsteps were far enough away so that I could run up to my room.

Once I made it to my room my heart was racing a mile a minute I was terrified. I almost got caught, and I did not want to deal with a beating right now. Once I finally calmed down I I put the bag of food on my desk, and went to grab a book. I was too shaken up to eat.

I settled on reading my favorite book Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare. This book always relaxed me when I read it. It truly brought me to a whole new world. I grabbed the book, my headphones, iPod, and I settled on my bed to read.

I was half way through the book when I looked up at the time. It was already noon. I heard my stomach growl, and figured I better take a break and eat something. I went over to the bag of food and pulled out the first thing I saw. It was a bag of chips. Not really caring as long as it was food, I dug in. I went over and sat next to my window. When I looked out I noticed that the car from this morning was still here. It must be important if they've been here that long. It must be a really big deal.
